I know the season isn't quite over yet but since we're getting to the final stretch I think it's time we looked back on who has been the manager of the season. I know that many of us here will vote for Jose but please consider the merits of the others before voting.

Whoever wins the league.

Bet your house on rodgers winning it regardless though.

If Chelsea win the league - Mourinho

If Liverpool win the league - Rodgers

If City win the league whichever of the above comes 2nd should win it, but it will probably be Rodgers.

Jose first up cause hey I'm a chelsea fan, apart from him Rodgers, then Martinez, I think Martinez is doing a fantastic job at Everton, in time to come he will be a big name

Tony Pulis should be in for a shout imo. If he keeps CP up of course.

Palace will be a hard game imo

Redknapp was named manager of the year for finishing 4th with Spurs the season Carlo won the Double.

I expect Brenton will win it come what may.

Rodgers deserves it. He has done a marvellous job even if they crumble and come 4th.

Steve Bruce and Tony Pulis (If Palace stay up) are the best of the bottom half. Especially Bruce, has got a very poor side getting great results and bought a quality striker in Shane Long for a very good price.

Mourinho has done great and is putting in the blocks to make us one of europe's greats. But even if we win the league, it's not manager of the season material. If City aren't number 1, it should be deemed a disappointment if we don't win it.

I think Steve Bruce has bought the best in the Summer and January. Huddlestone and Livermore have been great all season and Shane Long and Jelavic look to be two good January signings at good prices.

Tony Pulis has done really well getting a lot out of mediocre players. Mourinho and Rogers have also done well considering where Chelsea and Liverpool finished last year and where they are now without a hugely changed squad.

For me, Brendan Rogers deserves it followed by Mourinho and then Bruce/Pulis.

Not quite sure why David Moyes is in the poll!  :laugh2:

Rodgers has already won manager of the season

Suarez has already won both the player of the season awards

Sterling has already won young player of the season.

Liverpool are media darlings, How many player awards as Gerard got and for me I don't think he deserves one of them!

I don't think drogba has ever one a player of the year award, he has 2 goldon boot's and 3 league titles

Lamped has one despite being in the top 5 goal scorers of all time...

I actually think a case can be made this season for Rogers and Suarez but It's a lot closer then the media will have us believe. Yaya and JT should be pushing him close in my opinion, Terrys contribution to us is every bit has valuable as suarezes to the scoursers. Ramsy would have been a contender had he stayed fit.

Next season will be the acid test for Liverpool, champions league can take it out of teams a little bit and sousers haven't got the greatest squad depth.

Also can see Real making an 80 mill bid for suarez in the new year

Rodgers deserves it. He has done a marvellous job even if they crumble and come 4th.

Steve Bruce and Tony Pulis (If Palace stay up) are the best of the bottom half. Especially Bruce, has got a very poor side getting great results and bought a quality striker in Shane Long for a very good price.

What if we win the league and CL ?

Sterling has already won young player of the season.

Either Hazard or Sturridge will win young player of the year. They are both eligible and the clear favourites in my eyes. Hazard deserves it but Sturridge does get so much good press by the media. I think they are the only two in clear contention.

Redknapp was named manager of the year for finishing 4th with Spurs the season Carlo won the Double.

I expect Brenton will win it come what may.

Really? I don't remember that, but it's pissing me off (again) anyway...

Yap, remember being appauled at the time. Also the season that we broke the goal scoring record in the league

You are all forgetting the united love fest. Despite a shocking season by united Januzaj is going to get squeezed in somewhere.

Steve Bruce and Paul Lambert have done remarkably well to drag what are frankly sh*t squads into midtable and should be in with a shout, however I would imagine they will go with the entirely more fashionable option - the thinking man's Kevin Keegan: Brendan Rodgers.

Still too early. What if Liverpool collapse? What if Manchester City win every game from now until the end of the season? What if Everton sneak into the Champions League? What if we win the Champions League?

rodgers will get it. but liverpool wont win the league, they realistically need to win every game from now until the end the season to overtake city, that would require them to extend there winning streak to 14, which would be the most in a single season.

Cant see it personally and with defence they have, I think a slip up against a weaker team on paper is inevitable between now and the end of the season.
