sometimes I wonder why us liverpool fans get a bad rep, this is not one of those times....

i dont think its as big a deal as some are making out but it screams small time for me

I understand, i know quite a few liverpool fans, but don't remember us lot doing it to your team when you played us.

The fans outside the hotel isn't that bad. The players would have experienced worse in Europe or internationals.

Though the hotel prank of transferring calls is pretty bad (if they actually did it). A hotel should be privileged that a group of 40 or so have chosen to stay with them and they should be doing their best to ensure they keep their service.

Really does scream small time from the people involved. I always find it sad when people let their football tribalism overtake their actions as a person.

Then again this is the City who were taught by one of their founding fathers that football is more important than life and death.

Anybody watching the game on sky, don't switch on your tv till 2pm. It will be unbearable.

has Odemwingie drove himself down to formby hall yet? in all seriousness though surely this happens fairly often and they're actually used to it by now.

Of course it must happen all the time.

Also find twitter glorifiers sickening. You shouldn't do something like that for attention, you should do it because you want to disturb the Chelsea players.

A few chavs wanting people to think they are ultras.

I'm going to wait unitl dead on Kick Off time. I ain't waiting for Sky Sports go silence just so we have to suffer listening to you'll never walk alone sung for the millionth time. Every Liverpool game on TV is more often than not made about them and the other team is mainly forgotten.

Hmm, you'd expect such actions from Turkish fans rather than Liverpool ones.

You are right on both counts mate, not a big deal but for those fans involved it does reek of small time mindedness.

You have to admit given how most Liverpool fans see Chelsea as a tiny, small time club with no history, no class and no business even being mentioned in the same breath as Liverpool Football Club the fact that some of your fans are treating our team this way is rather ironic eh?

Jesus Christ, Liverpool fans apparently having an absolute riot down at the Chelsea team hotel

This is disgraceful

To be honest we have faced far worse in Turkey, and have still handed Galatasaray some hefty defeats over there despite all that nonsense.

It's just a few 'loveable' scallys messing around with some left over fireworks. I'm more suprised by the fact they haven't tried to jib into the hotel without reservations, that's more there level.

Hate all this "don't think I will watch this game' and "not bothered about this game anymore" sort of talk. It's so defeatist and smacks of someone who is scared of getting beaten.

Let's remember we draw 2-2 with Barcelona with 10 men and Jose Bosingwa playing in central defence.

I doubt very much the team we send out on Sunday will be as weak as some are expecting, it won't be first choice but with grit and determination we are always going to give it a good go and anything can happen.

I don't really think we are in contention wo win the league but I sure as hell don't want us to roll over and let Liverpool steam roll us and can you imagine the buzz and morale boost should we win on Sunday (and if City lost at Palace too).

I think some people who are acting as if they don't care about this game would change their minds come 4pm Sunday if we won the game.

It's not over until the last whistle of the last match.  We can do this.  I'm not going to be able to watch all of this, since I have church, but I will watch as much as I can whilst getting ready. I'll then check afterwards to see what happened, and hope that my godson will have a good reason to run around saying "Chelsea wins!"

liverpool fans really are awful and they are delusional enough to say they are the best fans in the world and any other decent team is plastic and classless. I hope liverpool choke away the most unloseable title just to see more liverpool misery.

Hope lampard scores a screamer to win it, in memory of his mum who, Liverpool fans were quick to mock the death of on twitter.

in the stands too - busters - but bring up the 96 & they would cry for the police to arrest you. Not a fan of the dirty red one bit

It's interesting when you consider that video from a few pages back, how well we attacked, how clinical we were compared to now.

What is the difference I wonder, there wasn't a goal scored by a striker, matter of fact Didier fluffed a couple. But they were so well supported by others. Cole, Lampard, Duff, Robben all were brilliant.

Seems so odd that with Hazard etc. we feel the need to resort to largely defensive football.

It's funny how their supporters think we won't score against them. 4-0 they say; we will see, but if they score that many without conceding a few, I'll give them respect (not the fans, but their team).

by looking at this , i would have city win the title ..:)

Yep. Heard some people on RAWK call it 'Bigger than Istanbul'.

I'll take that as a compliment.

Jose may call up forgotten man

JOSE MOURINHO is prepared to pick Hilario, Chelsea’s third- choice goalkeeper, for today’s crucial Premier League encounter with Liverpool at Anfield. The manager says he is concerned that the aggression of Liverpool’s strikers could put Mark Schwarzer, who will deputise for the injured Petr Cech in the Champions League semi-final against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday, at risk of injury.

Mourinho, claiming he was willing to sacrifice Chelsea’s dwindling title hopes to focus on the match against Atletico at Stamford Bridge, said: “It is a big dilemma. With players who are always looking for penalties and going for contact with the goalkeeper, it is dangerous. When the goalkeeper comes out, some strikers go there and dive for penalties. We can’t afford to be without Schwarzer on Wednesday.”

Last month Mourinho referred, obliquely, to Liverpool striker Luis Suarez as one of the “penalty kings” of the Premier League. The league leaders have been awarded more spot-kicks, 12, than any other club so far this season.

Suarez also went into the weekend as the attacking player who has had most fouls given against him in the top flight, 50, despite having missed the first five matches of the campaign because he was suspended after biting Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic in the Anfield fixture between the clubs a year ago.

Hilario, 38, played his last competitive fixture at the beginning of the 2011-12 season. Mourinho is also set to name the untested 18-year-olds Andreas Christensen and John Swift in his squad.

The Chelsea manager authorised the signing of Schwarzer, 41, to ensure he had a back-up to Cech with greater pedigree than the Portuguese veteran.

Schwarzer was first-choice last season at Fulham, where his contract expired in June, and has 109 caps for Australia. He became Chelsea’s oldest player in European competition when he came off the bench after Cech sustained a shoulder injury in the goalless first leg of the Champions League semi-final, in Madrid.

Mourinho values Schwarzer’s experience. “Look at the number of matches he has played in his career. When you are choosing a second goalkeeper you have to choose somebody who is mentally ready to play at any moment.”

He added that Hilario “is a serious contender” to start today. “I only have two goalkeepers and he is one of them. That’s life. We can’t have 40 players because we may be afraid that 15 are going to be injured. It is just the circumstances. I cannot have five goalkeepers because I think three of them are going to be injured.”

I'll be at the pub with my 'Pool supporting mate this afternoon so let's hope we give them a good game!
