They bitch and moan about the owner, then the manager, then they stop when they are winning games, then they lose a few and they call for his head again and force him out,now they are doing absolutely sh*t having got their wish so they are back to the owner again. Awful awful fans, deservedly never win anything.

Their expectations are far too high.

They may have a fantastic home support, and large stadium, but will never attract the top top players. I live in the North, but up there, it's just too damned cold!

Not sure why they feel having a big ground and support entitles them to do many thing...it's a starting point, not the be all and end all...as they have shown with going nearly 50 years without a trophy

As for playing better football, that's more to do with the fact that they hired a fan to replace Pardrew rather than a competent manager.

I wouldn't even swap him for Luis tbh.

I don't think he's all that great.

I think they had to shoehorn an English player in there to make it not look so dominated by foreigners.

When Pardew was at Newcastle they were comfortable, palace struggling. Pardew goes to palace and they are now comfortable and Newcastle struggling. I dont think that's a coincidence.

Fair enough, we will see how he does at Palace over the next few seasons. I hope you're right cause I think Palace are a decent team, seem quite ambitious as well. I have a feeling that it's going to be more of the same though.

 

It's not solely because he's in the team of the year, I don't think Joey is that fickle. It's because there are people who have always rated him and felt that he never let us down when he did play so him making the team, as well as being, arguably, the best left back in the league, is just further proof to back those claims up. 

 

I wouldn't swap him for Dave but then again I don't think he should be playing left back anyway so it's not a question of who would I prefer. 

United's defense still top notch I see.
