We have our own in RLC who needs to get a chance before buying other clubs youth IMO

Likes of Ake and RLC would look just as good as them if they had the same amount of game time.

I switched on the game ten minutes into the second half, fully expecting Everton to have rolled over to get their bellies tickled. What a pleasant surprise they're up for the fight for a change.

Why the black armbands by the way, what did I miss?

I duno they usually give United a game at Goodison it's at Old Trafford that they normally fall apart (aside from last season of course).

And only this morning Van Gaal was mouthing off saying that they could have won the league if they'd started the season better.  Yeah and if Burnley had beaten more teams, they could have won it too.  If ifs and buts were sweets and nuts, it would be Christmas every day (taken from last week's football365 article after Rooney said it might have been different if they'd scored - I hadn't heard that version before)

3-0!!!!

"Both will be wearing black armbands this afternoon in remembrance for former chairman Sir Phillip Carter, who passed away at the age of 87 earlier this week. There'll be a minute's silence for Mr Carter and for the Valley Parade disaster before kickoff."

Anyone see Lukaku's reaction when Miralles scored...looked totally disgusted that he never received the pass for a tap in....nice team player...reminds me a bit of Sturridge's attitude.

Yeah I was going to say that, he's always visibly annoyed when he doesn't get what he's asking for, even when he's being marked and the pass isn't viable.

Offers nothing defensively either you can why Jose sanctioned him leaving...but I guess if Everton can afford to have someone hanging around up front and it works for them, why not....I just look at their league position..

Wonder what Van Gaal will offer this week as an excuse...mind you Everton have done a better job destroying them than we did last week.  I sometimes wonder if we should be more adventurous in big games and get at the other team more...

Three years, £215m spent and this is the only cup Brendan Rodgers has lifted as Liverpool manager..

Yer, but he did lift back to back cups last week.

i love it how united fans think we arent actually that good. that the main reason we're about to win the league is because its piss poor, and that next season theyre the favourites

meanwhile, in this piss poor league, theyre barely gonna make top 4

That's odd, I could swear United were now the best team in the league as evidenced by their fantastic loss to us last week.

Or at least thats what i'd heard from United fans over the last 7 days.

Felipe Luis is absolutely class, can't believe so many on here don't rate him. He is levels above Bertrand. I like Bertrand's attitude towards the game and his pace but Luis is a quality footballer, links up really well with Hazard even better than Ashley Cole at it.

Hasn't played anywhere near enough games as he should have so I'm really hoping he stays here for another season.
