Boro being promoted means it's much easier for me to watch Chelsea if they came to the Riverside. Although having said that with Chelsea's away from with north east teams I dread to think what would happen.

Plus I'll be owed 50 quid if they don't get promoted, that'll do nicely.

Van Gaal has done a good job for me, did not expect United to get top 4 this season no matter how much they spent, disorganised and very unbalanced side. I think he has done a good job to scrape them so many points. They'll definitely be on the road to building something now sadly, although it was expected. Can't see them being up for it next season, they still aren't there yet.

It'll be us Arsenal and City next season, I would say we are the strongest sides in the league. Pellegrini will be gone by the end of the season, they'll get a new manager new signings etc it'll be the same ole. Although I think they have weakened definitely, at this current stage I would fear Arsenal more next season. But you never know what can happen in a summer, should they get a good manager and impressive signings you wont know what to make of City.

As for us I'm pretty damn confident the title is already ours, obviously football is unpredictable but I can't see us completely folding should we even lose tomorrow. I think all we will need is a few signings, I'm very happy with the signings, we should be looking for a striker, holding midfielder and perhaps defensive cover. I think that should be priority.

Lol just tuned into barca game for a few mins. Alba of barca didn't get a corner (correct decision). He throws his arms up and gives off to the ref. Ref books him. Keeps gurning, ref sends him off.

Hah. I'd love to see this if anyone can post it. About time this happened, especially to him.

The funniest Alba moment I seen (which was this season) is when he walked into the linesman's flag and started rolling on the floor holding his face, then he finally realise's that he can't get a free kick for this and gets back up.

It's just instinct with some players now.

Although Alba does kick the ball in frustration, he has kicked it towards the goalkeeper for the goal kick. Harsh first booking, would be aggrieved if that had been a Chelsea player.

Showed little aggression towards the red too so a 2nd booking also looks harsh.

That said it's Barca... So f**k 'em

I like the look of the bottom 3 tonight. Sunderland, QPR and Burnley - it'd be good to be shot of all of them

I agree with QPR and Burnley, the latter being a total sh!thole, but I have good Mackem mates. If only the Geordies could go down

With the ref on this one. First kick was a show of dissent. In the second booking I can only assume that Alba calls him a f**king w**ker or something to the effect.

I say bring him to the EPL and see how many games Rooney plays 90 mins in.

Just read that David Cameron forgot who he supports today. Having previously claimed he supported Aston Villa (probably to be cool with Prince William), today he said he supported West Ham.

Nobody forgets their football team. If we needed proof then this is it - Cameron is full of s**t

A lying politician - no way??!!

Newcastle fans are the worst in the league. They bitch and moan about the owner, then the manager, then they stop when they are winning games, then they lose a few and they call for his head again and force him out,now they are doing absolutely sh*t having got their wish so they are back to the owner again. Awful awful fans, deservedly never win anything.
