Yeah how dare he take his chances and celebrate his goals lol

Get over it mate

I don't mind him celebrating. It's the fact he never acknowledges the people who set up his goals. Just like when he doesn't score, and someone else does, he sulks.

Real Madrid play each game with two teams. 10 players in one and him in the other.

Messi will always be better than him.

Liverpool are just 4 points off United from top 4. United still have to play Arsenal, Crystal Palace and a relegation threatened Hull away these all games are tricky. Whereas Liverpool only has to play us at Bridge other than that they have to play an off form Stoke away which are tricky but not as much as Hull.

So supposedly, if we win the title tomorrow. Would you lose against Liverpool (if it means they'll scrape through top 4) other than United.

By all means I don't like Liverpool at all, but still I don't hate them as much as the scums. Plus if United misses our the top 4 again they'll be f**ked.

Their big money sponors will back away and no world class players would like to join a team who couldn't make CL on succession.

I'd be very much up for it.

In all in all reality it wouldn't happen, I mean Jose don't like Liverpool at all... and he respects United.. but still. United are more of a threat to us than dippers.

Well Plymouth spoiled the promotion party a little by playing better and winning. And it was bloody cold but still a goodish atmosphere. Hope Palace don't spoil a party tomorrow. Oh and some lads behind me were saying Chelsea have already won the league. I think they were a bit surprised when I turned round and told them they hadn't yet.

I was in the away end this afternoon. Congratulations on your promotion, I'm hoping we join you.

Heard on 606, re. Blackpool protest, that protest was in part concerning the removal by Karl Oyston of a statue of Stan Mortensen formerly located outside the ground. The statue is now dumped in a shed which is bloody disrespectful. The statue was to be the location for the protest.

Rather United get top 4 four than liverpool. Finishing 5th won't effect Uniteds ability to improve their team, as much as it would liverpool.

My liverpool supporting friend had the nerve to say Mourinho was scared of rodgers, and that you would have to be an idiot to not see rodgers is doing something special at Liverpool.

Utterly delusional. It will be a satisfying day when rodgers gets sacked, having won no trophies.

Mourinho scared of Rodgers? I can't stop laughing. LOL.

Look at this bro, S'land has a match in hand & are two points behind Newcastle. ATM I can see the barcodes slipping into the Championship. IMHO Carver will get the sack this weekend & I would be curious to see who can stop that sinking ship @ St. James. The one saving grace for the barcodes is their remaining 3 matches. 2 of them are at home, while S'land still has to travel to Everton, Arsenal & Chelsea. It will be a massive magic act if this side can escape the drop.

Yeah I think Carver's going too

Should be an interesting run in, just hope it goes to the final day

so i see we've ruined another team and contributed towards their regression. I swear it's something about Chelsea that causes the big teams to lose their sh*t after a defeat to us. from here on out, we shall be called "the season ruiners"

They practically already do by calling us boring lol

I wonder if Utd fans find Chelsea's record of losing three games all season boring after losing three games in as many weeks

Losing 3 games on trot is obviously less boring than losing 3 all season, surely? :P

Congrats to you too.  You played well today (though the Shrews didn't make life difficult as they never really got going).  Have a good day out at Wembley if you get there and hope you win - it's gutting if you lose at the final hurdle, we (Shrews that is) have done that twice now.

But by the same token LFC will be less of a threat with CL football than MUFC. They'll have money but yet again no CL football so that could hinder truly top talent. CL still provides a huge chunk of change and at this point in time we need every financial edge we can get over MUFC more so than any other club. I feel if MUFC gets CL football then they challenge for the title seriously next season but if they miss out I think they are more fighting for top 4 than the title. They'll have more money and pull/influence to become the British Galacticos under FFP with CL footy. Could be the difference between us and them getting a player like Pogba or Bale too, if it comes down to them picking a BPL club.

Mourinho scared of Rodgers? I can't stop laughing. LOL.

That was exactly my reaction.

Bb. I know what ur saying but united will be able to bring in top quality regardless of champions league football. Liverpool will have to settle for Danny ings if they finish 5th.

It won't be too long until we only have 3 champions league places, and that will start to seriously impact the competition.

Maybe because I now live in Merseyside, but I hate liverpool more than any other club.

Anyone seen Carver in front of the press after the game?

Pressure has got to him, well and truly.

They've lost their last 8, which is astonishing, and they're in real danger of going down.

He basically called out all his players, apart from Colback, more or less calling them cowards.

The guy that got sent off, Williamson, he accused him (in so many words) of doing it on purpose, in order to miss games.

Every Newcastle game between now and the end of the season is going to be compelling viewing.

They just can't buy a point right now.

I was at their game today, they were absolutely f**king awful.

Carver was completely clueless as well - persisting with the awful Perez-Rivière partnership, keeping Ryan Taylor at the base of midfield despite his inability to string a pass together, starting with two up front despite knowing that Leicester would start three at the back, not playing anything resembling a wide man despite knowing that Schlupp and Albrighton would be the wing-backs, bringing on Adam Armstrong as their sole attacking threat despite him never having scored a league goal. They gave up after 3-0; without Coloccini and Krul the scoreline would have been worse, Leicester completely annihilated them.

The press conference was just the icing on the cake really - blaming the players entirely, even to the extent that he implied that there was some sort of conspiracy against him. The man is in over his head and completely clueless. I guess Newcastle should thank the Gods that Derby managed to bottle the play-offs... it is surely the only way they'll attract anything resembling a top-level manager.

Even worse is that more or less every single result went against Newcastle today. I think we heard the death knell for QPR and Burnley, but Sunderland, Leicester, Villa, and West Brom all won. Now they are suddenly only two points clear of safety, with Janmaat and Williamson both suspended. I suppose they are just lucky that they are playing three other teams with nothing left to play for...

What do people think about a cheeky pop for Di Maria? He started well enough but despite having fallen apart since about November, he showed his class last season and has worked well with Mourinho before. If we could get him back to his best it would help solve our RW issues.

To be honest, the players deserved it. They aren't putting the effort in.

Wouldn't mind losing to Sunderland on the final day if it ensures their survival at Newcastle's expense. Muhahaha

I'll love it! Love it!!  :laugh2:

I will say one thing about United or Liverpool, whoever gets fourth, I wouldn't be so sure they'd even win the qualifier on current form. They'd have to get their sh*t together pretty quickly

Still can't believe he went with the midfield he did when he had players like Anita, Cabella and Abied on the bench.

Tactics were awful as well, hoofball to the big lad in Riviere despite him proving that he's better with the ball to feet and it carried on even after he went off the pitch, long balls towards probably the smallest guy on the whole pitch in Perez.

I guess this is what happens when a fan manages a football club.
