A Liverpool v Arsenal final would be the ultimate win win, lose lose for me...It would actually be quite a good final if I'm honest,  with tears before bedtime for one of them...pictures of fat scouse/gooner kids in the crowd crying..Whats not to love...

 

The Nations Media in a tizz over who to support (Liverpool might just shade it, I believe they have a player called Steve Gerrard who single handedly got England to many a tournament and would probably win the Election if he stood for office)

 

Plus we would be treated to those two beacons of common sense, Brenda Rogers and John Aldridge on the telly constantly, in the lead up...Deep joy !

 

I rather see the Villa fans do a pitch invasion like they did when they beat WBA in the 6th round. We wouldn't get mad & we probably all laugh

Haha indeed, as well as Rodgers or Wenger's dour face as they watch him run screaming to jump on top of Benteke, his gilet discarded in his wake. And for the first time in his Aston Villa career, Charles N'Zogbia would put his hands on his hips and crack out a surprised smile.

Villa it is then, although Sherwood (Jeremy Kyle) is becoming stranger, pulse checking, saluting, by the day.

Reading all the way for me. Two Chelsea players on loan, ex-Chelsea in charge and their fans are alright in my experience.

he said that in his 15 years of football he hasnt seen a bigger piece of sh*t of a ref and that the whole country is f**ked up

I really don't understand how arsene wenger can get credit for this season. It is ridiculous that a team which includes sanchez and ozil isn't challenging for all trophies from the get go. If there is any manager that can get chastised and criticism for the majority of the season, then makes a good run at the latter end of the season and instantly praised again, it's wenger.

They give him a free pass because in the last decade he's not spent very much money (in the grand scale of things) and still remained a bit competitive. Wont last forever though

Pretty much this. He's 7 points behind a team who have spent three times as much money over the last 5 years. 

Wenger has spent big last two seasons though and potentially only two FA Cups to show for it and two very stuttering (almost non existent) title challenges. Hardly seems like good investment when that's all that's delivered.

 They've spent less than us and City (gross) over the last two seasons.

 

Playing Devil's advocate here but there is a reason why some people in the media 'revere' him. Think about how old they are and how long he's been around, and the changes at that club. There are clear reasons to criticise him but to remain competitive (not successful) will impress many.

One season in 10 where hes anywhere near the title, amazing...He`s had the full run of a club for decades, all the time in the world to bring through youth with almost no pressure to win anything, all the time in the world to build up a squad to challenge for titles, which surely as hes one of the best managers apparently he should have been able to manaege at least a couple of times. All this while having the highest ticket prices in world football, plenty of cash to spend if he wanted to, And yet he has never managed that. It doesnt matter which teams have spent what, thats garbage.
