April 8, 201511 yr I know people don't like AVB, but I think he's a good manager and I wish him the best. He was too young for the Chelsea job. Especially with the older players.
April 8, 201511 yr I will piss it if Liverpool get knocked out.But... but... It's Stevie G's birthday on cup final day. It's not common knowledge so you may not be aware of it but still, doesn't he deserve a winner's medal purely for being Steven Gerrard?
April 8, 201511 yr But... but... It's Stevie G's birthday on cup final day. It's not common knowledge so you may not be aware of it but still, doesn't he deserve a winner's medal purely for being Steven Gerrard? Are you sure? I haven't heard anyone mention it....
April 8, 201511 yr In the BT commentary box after Liverpool's goal - "Can we get some tissues and a clean pair of trousers for Michael please?"
April 8, 201511 yr Just turned over to the footy to see the dippers are winning, still on course to lose in the Final then...
April 8, 201511 yr Tbh I want Liverpool to go through, if the final is a Arsenal vs Liverpool at least then we can't be sure who will win. Anything else and the winner is obvious. Of course I'll be cheering on Arsenal and Liverpool's opponents in the semis but if one gets to the final I want the other one to.
April 8, 201511 yr What a nightmare. If the Scousers get to the final there'll be so much Stevie G-related hype that LFC will get every 50/50 decision. Whoever meets them will have to beat them cleanly and clearly. w**kers.

April 8, 201511 yr Even if that someone is Arsenal? Blimey. Yep, I'd rather it was Arsenal. Good ol' Ty and Claude would be happy...
April 8, 201511 yr Blimey. Yep, I'd rather it was Arsenal. Good ol' Ty and Claude would be happy... Wow lol I hate Arsenal more than any other club and surpisingly even I think I might prefer them to win than Liverpool haha I guess my opinion my change nearer the time but we shall see
April 8, 201511 yr On subject of City again...genuinely not being biased, but don't think their title winning sides will be remembered in history as one of the great pl teams...lost far too many games, made far too much hard work of it etc obviously three generations of Utd sides wille, arsenal too, particularly the invincibles, and our two under Jose and the one under Carlo which won the double...just to show I'm not biased, I don't think this chelsea side will be regarded as highly as the ones mentioned above (if they win it of course) because of how long our scrappy form has lasted
April 8, 201511 yr You can take the man out of Liverpool. http://www.standard.co.uk/news/crime/former-liverpool-player-andrea-dossena-arrested-on-suspicion-of-shoplifting-in-harrods-10161902.html ..
April 8, 201511 yr I’m not a fan of sacking a manager who won the title the year before but to be honest he won that title due to Liverpool choking Really? I actually don't think they choked, but just became over confident. They actually only needed a draw against us, but went for the win. All the crap in the press just motivated us more to turn them over. Edited April 9, 201511 yr by NorthernMonkey
April 8, 201511 yr Then again these were in the dark days of Benitez so it's possible my standards were ... ... My 86 year old mother would have been a preferred option
April 8, 201511 yr Don't mind the scousers win, need them to give Arsenal a tough game down the track.

Even though it's easy to argue that Liverpool did it for years with the Moore's "pools" money and United have always spent big, there's a perception out their that Chelsea and City's wins aren't really fair. Largely from the media though. For example, they still bang on about the invincibles, but never mention we scored more points in 2006 (iirc). The press certainly tried to build this side up, to knock it down.
