April 9, 201511 yr Lets get things like the election, ISIS, poverty and hunger into perspective: it's 'Get Stevie to Wembley' night. We'll look back on this, as old men, saying 'Ay, I were there when Stevie got THERE...' I've just been catching up on this thread, after reading Mail Online. You're quite right. How dare we talk about City and the like, when Stevie only has 2 more banned games before he pushes to be the Nation's hero. And we'll all have everything crossed for him ....... Not
April 9, 201511 yr Ordinarily i'd prefer the dippers to beat the arse, because while I dislike the dippers more the arse are unbearable when they win anything. But given that it's Slippy's last game i'd happily see Arsenal do them if necessary.
April 9, 201511 yr What a nightmare. If the Scousers get to the final there'll be so much Stevie G-related hype that LFC will get every 50/50 decision. Whoever meets them will have to beat them cleanly and clearly. w**kers. The funny thing is I don't think gerrard would even be picked to play at this rate.
April 9, 201511 yr Yawn! http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/13864/9795976/win-fa-cup-for-steven-gerrard-gary-bowyer-tells-liverpool
April 9, 201511 yr I dont like Arsenal, but it pales into insignificance compared to my hatred for Liverpool. If Liverpool were to win the cup, in Me's final game for them...on his f**king birthday...UURRRGGHH *shudders violently* Edited April 9, 201511 yr by Blue Exile
April 9, 201511 yr I actually don't think they choked, but just became over confident. They actually only needed a draw against us, but went for the win. They thought it was in the bag and started showing off to Sky cameras before it was wrapped up. You'd see never see Jose or Ferguson allowing their teams do to that. I don't recall much about that game (the Euphoria took over) but did they attack much? Tactically naive from Rodgers in that case.

Tbh only one I can remember is where Suarez had a shot and Schwarzer made a terrific save but other than that I'm sure they were mostly pot shots from Stevie G trying to atone for his error.
April 9, 201511 yr Blimey. Yep, I'd rather it was Arsenal. Good ol' Ty and Claude would be happy... Wow lol I hate Arsenal more than any other club and surpisingly even I think I might prefer them to win than Liverpool haha I guess my opinion my change nearer the time but we shall see Phuck all of you beeyatches I am rooting for Villa!!!
April 9, 201511 yr Phuck all of you beeyatches I am rooting for Villa!!! I only want them to get to the final if Reading do but if it's Arsenal vs Villa I would love a repeat of the league cup final against Birmingham to happen
April 9, 201511 yr A Liverpool v Arsenal final would be the ultimate win win, lose lose for me...It would actually be quite a good final if I'm honest, with tears before bedtime for one of them...pictures of fat scouse/gooner kids in the crowd crying..Whats not to love... The Nations Media in a tizz over who to support (Liverpool might just shade it, I believe they have a player called Steve Gerrard who single handedly got England to many a tournament and would probably win the Election if he stood for office) Plus we would be treated to those two beacons of common sense, Brenda Rogers and John Aldridge on the telly constantly, in the lead up...Deep joy !
April 9, 201511 yr Reading all the way for me. Two Chelsea players on loan, ex-Chelsea in charge and their fans are alright in my experience.
April 9, 201511 yr Apparently Arsenal are gonna offer Wilshere a new contract to put off Man City interest. Has Wilshere been brainwashing people? As far as I'm concerned he's an average footballer who is only rated cause he's English and has a bit of fire in him (which essentially means he's a dick on the pitch). Plus he spends more time injured than on the pitch anyway

Having said that I'd have loved to have seen him develop under Jose and our medical staff.
April 9, 201511 yr Still living off the hype of 2-3 seasons ago. The guy looks anything but a good signing, either he stays at Arsenal or moves to City...either way they keep or buy a crock.

I don't recall much about that game (the Euphoria took over) but did they attack much? Tactically naive from Rodgers in that case. Agreed, they certainly seemed to play with a swagger, as if it was in the bag. I don't remember too much either, except their high defensive line, which was such a needless risk
April 9, 201511 yr http://m.skysports.com/article/sports//9796351 Wenger says Wilshere isn't for sale and that Arsenal don't have to sell their best players anymore. So he's saying Wilshere is for sale? Cause surely he can't be considered one of their best players.
April 9, 201511 yr Agreed, they certainly seemed to play with a swagger, as if it was in the bag. I don't remember too much either, except their high defensive line, which was such a needless risk Remember when they said they had the measure of us in 2005 after drawing 0-0 with us in the CL. They gobbed off for days then we just turned up at Anfield and hammered them 1-4. It kind of reminded me of that really. Infact on that note both those games mentioned I had friends who are Liverpool fans in the days proper saying they thought Liverpool were gonna win.
April 9, 201511 yr Not really fussed who wins so long as we bag the big one. It's going to be dire whoever wins it from those two.
April 9, 201511 yr Maybe Villa will win it lol I would very much enjoy witnessing the sight of Gerrard/Giroud/Sterling/Mertesacker/whoever looking utterly baffled as they watch Pavel Pogrebnyak walk up the Wembley stairs to collect his FA Cup winner's medal.
April 9, 201511 yr It would be brilliant if Villa did to Arsenal what Birmingham did to them or what Wigan did to City. I don't think anyone fancies Birmingham or Wigan on either of those days but they both managed to do it and both were glorious
