Juan Cuadrado to Chelsea .... Done!

Neymar is 23 though. Ronaldinho was barely known by that time. It's a bit scary when you think about it. I know people don't like the kid much on here, but I think he's possibly the best shout for the next Ballon d'or winner after Messi and Ronaldo. Although I would love it if he was kept frustrated by a certain Belgian obviously.

I think Hazard is better than Neymar personally however Neymar is a better goal scorer.

Besides Zidane, I haven't seen any player like those two chaps for a while. However I would still say Brazilian Ronaldo was the best player I've ever seen play, Ronaldinho was immense but his prime didn't last as long as many expected.

Ronaldinho was a weird one, he just completely fell of a cliff in a year or so after he completely dominated. Some of the things he did with a football still boggles the mind

This is why Neymar is a future Balon d'Or winner

Yeah.. this. I really don't see Hazard winning the Ballon D'Or anytime soon unless he starts scoring goals on consistent basis like 30 goals a season.

Goals is the material thing in winning the Ballon D'or. And I seriously think he can score a lot more goals if he improves his finishing and plays more centrally.

No way suarez can showboat as well as neymar, and that was Ronaldinho all over.

I think neymar is definitely more similar in terms of style and outrageous tricks. But like 1905 said Ronaldinho was a 1 of a kind.

Come on Suarez has plenty of tricks up his sleeve, Messi takes the ball past just about anyone however it's just dribbling, just like Hazard, Suarez could nutmeg a mermaid and his dummies are fantastic. Neymar is far too fancy and he doesn't succeed as much, I once saw a video of him on a football page backheeling the ball into an open net and I was wondering what the hell is so good about that? Why is this even been shared?

In terms of invention, and close control, suarez isn't on neymar's and certainly not ronaldinho's level. He is fantastic at nutmegging though, but I don't think he has as much of a variety of tricks in his locker as the 2 brazilians.

Give this a watch if you can

A twenty minute debut against Villa and you have some on here already writing him off!

No, in all seriousness, I mean generally, there's a high level of expectation already and his style of play means he will turn over possession more than Willian and Hazard, both of whom are good at retaining the ball under pressure.

Cuadrado is very direct from what I've seen and will wander into blind alleys. Good to see Jose is already playing down expectations by saying fans will see the best of Cuadrado next season.

Only worry with Cuadrado is he'll likely lose the ball a lot more than Willian, given his playing style. Hopefully the fans don't get too agitated with it and give him some time and encouragement.

That was my complaint on him tonight, he kept losing the ball. Also, that he kept going against the flow of play, especially on the breakout and counterattack. Really slowed up the attacking chances there.

To be honest, he just looked like a Willian clone today. Plenty of pace and skill, but most of the time stopped and stood with the ball, letting defenders get back. Useless at corners as well.

Slightly disappointed with his full debut, hopefully just needs some time to settle in to the club.

Nice turn of pace about him but showing already he is a massive upgrade on Salah.

To be fair to Salah, he was also looking very good in his first season.

Harsh to compare though, we spent a lot more money on Cuadrado and it's completely different circumstances as Liverpool weren't involved in it. I think he will be a good player, he looked good he was just underwhelming and didn't have a great effect on the game.

But that's all it is a game, one game, lets see what he's like in the rest of them.

I wasn't as crazy as many on the match day thread about him. He looked  a littler nervouse and while solid enough, it wasn't a debute of Robben or Zola proportions that made me think watch out league.

What I did like is on a number of occasions he looked to come in of the wing and make a run in behind only for the pass to be behind him, once we get on the same page and recognise there is an opportunity in behind he will get chances. All in all a tidy enough player, not one I think is going to replace Willian by any means but will cirtinaly add to the quality of the squad.

A lot was asked last month about who did the better business, Us or City. at this point you would have to say City as Boney is adapted to the league and with this media storm I'm a bit worried we could loose diego again this season, time will tell

That was REALLY annoying! I thought, WTF are you doing - taking a breather?!!

But it's early days for him and he can only get better.

That's the only reason I wasn't too critical of him. Thought he got up and down the pitch well in the first-half and put in a couple of fantastic balls but Remy isn't the best target man. Maybe he tired but I thought he looked a little ponderous and maybe even a bit winded as it went on.

First game though and hopefully he gets another run-out against Burnley.

I thought he was good, especially in the first half. Not sure what sort of expectations people had on his debut. The first couple of corners were bad, but the ones after that were excellent. I wonder if people form opinions based on the things that just stick in their mind.

Really excited to see him at his best now.
