Juan Cuadrado to Chelsea .... Done!

Featured Replies

After he scores a few goals, of course:

John Square, John Square,

His name sounds better in Spanish!

John Square, John Square,

But he sure can f**king finish!

Like he's done with hazard you mean?

Sure, but hazard has a rare talent that only 1% of players have. We know cuadrado has the talent, but it's whether he can utilise it well enough to go along with the responsibilities that jose requires from him. I am pretty sure Willian was a much more creative player at his previous club than he has been for us, so whether that is down to the responsibilities put on him by jose, or whether he's just holding himself back, only he himself knows, but so far he hasn't shown enough when it matters.

Not really, he seems to be the same as he was before we signed him. I don't know where this thing about Mourinho coaching flair out of players comes from, who is he actually supposed to have done this too? Robben, no. duff, no. Joe Cole, no, though I suspect this is where it may have started as he tried to make him into a more rounded footballer. Ronaldo, no. Hazard, no. Fabregas, no. etc.

Deco who burst on to the scene and was one of the best players in the world in 2004 with Jose... Or sjnider, who in my opinion was the best player in the world in 2010... Yap Jose completely ruined them

People in Italy have been speaking very highly of this guy over the past few days, Carragher also said if we win the league that the man who handles our transfer dealings should get a medal too, not a bad idea

Might be a woman as well. Who was that lady in our ranks? Not talking about the lovely Eva.

Yep, heavily involved in all deals.

She actually looks after Roman's money so probably doesn't know that much about football BUT she might have a great eye on deals.

Yep, I'm looking forward to seeing the counter argument from enigma about who he did coach the flair out of

I was gonna say that myth is bullsh*t, Jose made Joe Cole for example into a top top player

The only thing that ruined joe Cole was his knee ligament injuries...at chelsea he fulfilled his potential, won medals and was a proper player...he was England's best player at 2006 w cup too...cole's drop in form (due to injury) is just a stick those with anti chelsea agenda like to beat us with

Thought it was Emanalo?

If we wanted to break it down and praise a certain individual then it would be Marina but they are all on the same team really. Emanalo and his team spends the time scouting the players and such while Marina would be dealing with the financial aspects of it, with some input from Emanalo and others.

Juan Cuadrado: Only 1 player has been fouled more times in Europe’s top 5 leagues this season than @Cuadrado (87) #DeadlineDay

We're going to get so many free kicks. Ridiculous.

Who's the player?

Out of all the players that have left in the last 18 months, I am mostly disappointed that de bruyne wasn't given a real chance. I understand that mata wasn't able to adapt his game, but at 20 de bruyne would have had a real chance at being molded into a'jose type' player.

Having sold mata, we should have put faith in de bruyne instead of schurrle, and signing salah.

I don't think he got on with Jose for whatever reason.

He quickly fell out of favour despite starting the season in the starting XI and he was shipped off pretty sharpish.

I think something went on behind the scenes with that one.

maybe it was to do with getting Courtois to commit, as he and de bruyne fell out over a girl. He only played 150 mins total for us. If your look how he was ignored for us, it's no suprise he was unhappy.

For me he is a better footballer than Schurrle, salah, willian, cuadrado, and perhaps even oscar. Plenty of talk that United and city are ready to spend over £30m for him, nearly double what we sold him for. Real shame if he was forced out of the club for non football reasons.

To be honest I don't think a decision on Courtois returning would have been made that early on and I would like to think Jose is above worrying about players love lives, especially when those two players regularly meet up with their national team.

There was a few rumours doing the rounds that De Bruryne wasn't 100% committed during training and that Jose didn't like how he spent his social time (too much time spent out at clubs etc).

It's all rumour either way of course but I do suspect that there was something that Jose just couldn't work with.
