for me it takes two good players to make 1 Super Frankie Lampard

Completely agree, I think I've said before that it's taken Fabregas and Oscar for us to replace Lampard, and even between them they have about a fifth of his goal tally.

Tbh, if we are to replace Mourinho ever, I think there is only 1 manager capable to do it and that is Pep imo. Unless we are getting Pep, I don't want Mourinho to leave, I mean ever.

Some people want us to replace Jose with Simeone. I dunno why, they are too similar. If we hate Mourinho for somewhat his anti football, then Simeone is the astute artist of it.

Carlo is a good manager, but I dun't think he's better than Jose.

I actually thought on the ball we played very well, we just lost concentration and our defensive positioning and defensive play was absolutley dreadful Cahill and Ivanovic were poor whilst Luis on the ball going forward was good he was also poor at the back Jose needs to have a good think about his options throughout the International break.

Spot on Dan.We did play well on the ball but defensively we were too open.Keep the attacking flare going but tighten up at the back.Zouma could be the better option as we lack pace in the middle.

just curious, did anyone watch the broadcast of this match? Phil Neville for me came across like a straight bar steward. On the winning goal, he clearly blames the GK. For me, it was a well placed shot by Remy. Did anyone else have the same feeling/belief that I had?

If you're willing to take the piss out of the team /manager/club when something happens that you don't like, then don't be shocked with another supporter takes the piss out of you when you post something they don't like.

I'll say it, if you're the type to stop cheering and take the piss out of the team when any little thing goes wrong, then you are a sh*te fan. If you're claiming the title is gone because you're 2-2 with half a game of football left to play despite having a 3 point lead and another game in hand, -yes you're being a sh*te fan.

I'm not saying plastic. I'm not saying glory hunter (probably spoiled and not grasping just how good these times are compared to the last 100 years). I'm not even saying you're not a real fan. I'm just saying your a sh*te supporter because your support isn't there when it's needed the most. It's real f**king easy to be a good fan in good times.

If you were playing, would you want that type of fan in the stands today? This will piss off some people but tough, call it as I see it.

Take 'em to school Yessir

I think he's just a bit thick, I honestly don't think Phil Neville has a nasty bone in his body. He wasn't really that bad a commentator - nothing in terms of proper insight or analysis (hardly a rarity in commentators) but I remember him telling a story about him babysitting Alex Bruce as a kid and also about getting nutmegged five times in a single game by Gaston Ramirez.

Phil Neville wasn't really that bad a commentator

Master Jedi I have to disagree - Neville came across as pure noob. He laid into Tibo on Hull's 2nd goal, when I felt it was the back pass by Brana. Then he kept on w/ lil' digs at CFC. Then the cherry on top of the cake was discounting Remy's goal. I have two words for him - Phuck You!!!

When I say 'not that bad' I mean relatively speaking, compared to the vast majority of commentators who are completely inept to the point of genuinely pissing me off while I'm watching the game. A noob perhaps but I don't think he's a bar steward (although admittedly I agree with him on both those points).

Phil Neville looks like he got his haircut in the fish n chippy, good grief.

Supposedly his wife had to teach him how to use a kettle as well!

To be honest I have more respect for someone with a sh*t haircut they clearly didn't pay for (even possibly got their mum/wife to do it) rather than the w**kers who walk around with those very particular £500 haircuts.

Who said Mourinho out? I don't remember reading that.

Probably just 1 or 2 people. And again, like i said in the get a f**king grip thread, i don't think such a reaction is needed just because 1 or 2 people think a certain way. When i read these large posts criticising forum members, it feels like they are directing their posts at the majority of us when it's actually only 1 or 2 people saying these things. If people have a problem with someone saying Mourinho should be sacked, they should take it up with them, don't make it look like it is the majority of us on here that think that way.

I actually find the posts criticising forum members a lot worse than 1 or 2 people saying we should sack Mourinho.

I am not saying our current midfield is bad, far from it.

But Matic will need to improve a fair bit and achieve a lot to be comparable to maka.

Cesc is a top player, effective in his own way. But up there with lamps... Just not quite there for me.

Oscar to essien in his pomp? Not even close.

Fatigue is our biggest problem, I don't think our players  got worse this year, they just don't have the energy and precision as they were 4-5 months ago. With only 9 games to go, I have the feeling Jose will play his best 11 as much as possible, which could be dangerous. Against the likes of QPR, Leister etc, we could do with 2 strikers start the game.

Well the dust has settled.for a start courtois was to blame for the second goal.he should have cleared his lines, basic goal keeping.mistakes happen,he is still a world class player.I have read what abysmal players we have in Willian and ramires, not so IMO.Ramires should be playing a maka role,he will never be as good, but then again who could?

Willian i would stick with,he has speed but little guile ,but i'm afraid he is better than Oscar and fabregas.why does mourhino stick with

Favourites? Like Ivan,I really don't know.he reminds me of celestine babayaro, always out of position, but in fairness a far better contributor to the attack.

We will win the league this year, but here's the bomb shell.mourhino will never be a long term manager.he is tactically inept and is blind to the talented and gifted players.hope I'm wrong of course, but as you have become accustomed to,I rarely am.

Does the fact he has only won this twice seem ridiculous to anyone else?  :laugh2:

Ill just quote a post from another forum

Jose has a poor track record in playing young players who are not quite good enough.  He hardly ever played Huth, or Glen Johnson, of C Cole, despite all these going on to become adequate PL performers for lesser clubs.  He did actually pick Diarra quite a bit.  Mikel quite a bit.  Robben a lot,  He won with first CL title with a goal from Calros Alberto aged 19.  Ballotelli, Santon and Varane all got a lot of match time from him

The charge that JM does not pick young players is quite simply bullsh*t.

"Tactically Inept" though, that is a laugh. He must be the luckiest manager in the history of the universe to win what he has if he is tactically inept.

Name five managers in the entire world who are better tacticians than Mourinho.
