Garth Crooks' team of the week consists of two strikers and five attacking midfielders.

Why are they paying the fat necked, no nothing knob to come up with that nonsense?

I'm sure he's just taking the piss at this point.

Sanchez as a left-wing back and De Bruyne as a holding midfielder is fine by me.

He has got a very fat neck, never noticed before.

And he's got a face like a pug dog.

The league really is weak at the moment.  Every team is beating each other it seems.  Arsenal thumped us 3-0, Spurs thump Man City 4-1, West Ham thump Liverpool 3-0, Saints put 3 past you at Stamford Bridge.

But then these same teams then go and drop points against the likes of Bournemouth and Sunderland.  It's a free-for-all at the moment and anyone can contest the top 4 places if they really want it enough.

I can't see past Man City winning the whole thing as they have so much firepower coupled with us, Liverpool, you lot, Spurs and Arsenal being a bit crap.  Although things can change.  I'd rather see you or Arsenal win the title if we can't but fear it will be a good season for the Berties.

It shows how the quality of the PL has dropped but it definitely backs up it been the most competitive league.

I would rather just about anyone (maybe bar Liverpool) win the title over Arsenal.

No chance we will win it this year, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a top four finish and a busy January transfer window.

The guy at the end of this interview is right at least  :laugh2:

At least our lot can have a laugh at the end and get our points across properly without going into complete meltdown like the Arsenal fans.

Regarding RAWK_MELTDOWN and bobby's conversation.

I don't know if one can say the league has gotten weak, I think it's stayed similar. However, it's become more balanced. The top teams are less powerful but the lower teams are certainly stronger.

Long term I think this is great for the league and the top teams will eventually be getting even better than they were a decade ago or so.

Apologies for resurrecting this sh*te, but as it happens I was talking to a non-football supporting friend about his little diatribe earlier today,. And what he told me was that back in the '80s Alan Davies used to be a bit left wing, anti-Tory. Then at some stage he met up with some bloke he knew from back then and together they formed part of a right-wing group that moved away from "their" area to get away from the blacks etc.

And this steaming hypocrite has the front to call John Terry and Chelsea fans generally racists. Add that to the further hypocrisy over Arsenal's very own Russian, the lack of capitalisation and the unjustifiable vitriol of his little rant, put it all together and you have Alan Davies, a sem-literate curly-headed thick as two short planks unfunny piss-poor excuse for a comedian turncoat Tory bar steward hypocrite piece of sh*t.

Apologies again if I missed anything out.

Coming from an ordinary Arsenal fan that little lot would be bad enough. Coming from a so-called "celebrity" it's unforgiveable.

I swear if anyone was daft enough to give me a Jonathan Creek box set, I'd take a hammer to the f**king thing.

Better manager than Rodgers. Should we be worried? Will they beat us to 4th spot with him in charge?

Klopp has to be VERY good at polishing turds to get them to finish 4th.

A superb appointment for the long run though. One of the most exciting, enigmatic football manager's in the modern game.

I am very jealous.

Yeah he'll make them slightly better, but to be honest Klopp will need to upgrade that squad again and it will be tough because rodgers ruined their funds on average players. they also don't have stand out players of quality like reus, gundogan, hummels, kagawa, aubeyeang, mikhataryan etc so if he can get them challenging for a top 4 place with that squad i would be very surprised.

Do they have the money to buy top players? Maybe one or two per season?

Will players want to play for him more than Rodgers? Absolutely.

Looking forward to seeing Klopp in the PL, he will be very entertaining I feel in many ways. Just a shame that he will be at Liverpool, I can already picture him pandering to the scouse narratives in his first press conference. He will need a lot of time and money to sort out Rodgers' mess, can't see him getting Liverpool beyond 6th this season.

Dortmund sing ynwa as well he will be over the moon

Dunno why Liverpool didn't stick it out with rodgers tbh. A transition into the season like this can be tough work. I thought rodgers did as well as he could with the players at his disposal. I highly doubt klopp will do much better unless their board give him a windfall.
