February 3, 201610 yr http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03hcq4t Quality. Really want Leicester to win the league.
February 3, 201610 yr Also, if you missed the goal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9G5XJkOKEz4 f**king unreal volley shot. We've seen some absolute crackers this season but this might be goal of the season. The sheer audacity to attempt it from that range.
February 3, 201610 yr here Claude again whining why le arse won't win the title This sums up the Gooners. It's easier to think of reasons why Arsenal can't win the league than it is to think of reasons why they will. They are in a rut of being there or thereabouts permanently. February 3, 201610 yr http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03hcq4t Quality. Really want Leicester to win the league. Me too. It's a bit odd as we may have a chance ourselves. Leicester winning the league would be a stunning event, particularly after last season. I hope it can happen.
February 3, 201610 yr Author Jackson Martinez has moved to China for £31m despite moving to Atletico in summer for £25m and only managing 3 goals in 22 appearances. The Chinese Super League is going to become a cash cow for European clubs looking to make a quick profit by the looks of things.
February 3, 201610 yr The Chinese are trying to make themselves a global powerhouse for football in International competitions. I remember hearing on the radio that schools are to take football very seriously and they are trying to get kids playing competitively from an early age now. This is probably all part of the process. Didn't the Falcao deal fall through because Martinez wasn't moving to China? Seems he moved a couple of days too late.

Hopefully they show interest in Remy in summer and he goes for 50 million lol

I would be stoked for them if they win the league; hope they do it. Problem will come next season when they are not able to compete in transfer window and it could have a big affect on them in CL. Still be great to see them win league this year though.
February 3, 201610 yr Did anyone else enjoy the Wenger interview last night. He was asked something along the lines of "is this the same old Arsenal, it's slipping away?" and he replied "I don't know why you say that, we've been on the top for twenty years". I laughed out loud and said, "not at the top for ten years mate".
February 3, 201610 yr Didn't wenger have a hissy fit in the tunnel post match and him and koeman had to be separated? That's what i heard.
February 3, 201610 yr Ha ha!! Yes he did: http://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/feb/03/arsene-wenger-ronald-koeman-arsenal-southampton: "The Frenchman reportedly complained to Mason: “It’s always the same with you.” Koeman, however, saw the exchange and intervened, telling Wenger: “And it’s always the same with you. You had 10 chances to score and couldn’t take any of them so why have a go at them?” Brilliant response from Koeman. And yes, I'll say the predictable - if that had been Jose, I think we'd have heard much more about it.
February 3, 201610 yr Wenger had a go at the Ref, Lee Mason after the game and said "Its always the same with you" Koeman came over and said to Wenger "Yes and its always the same with you, you had 10 chances to score and didn't take any of them" Will Wenger get in trouble with the FA ? I'm guessing not. Beaten to the punch by BeerQueen. Edited February 3, 201610 yr by SHELLY

February 3, 201610 yr Teixeira is on his way to Jiangsu Suning, Jackson Martinez has signed Guangzhou. What's going on? That mumbling in the background you hear? That's money talking, and it says Come to China.
February 3, 201610 yr Teixeira is on his way to Jiangsu Suning, Jackson Martinez has signed Guangzhou. What's going on? China's doing what China tends to do. It's trying to get into a world market by throwing money at it. The next thing will be to snag a World Cup like they did in rugby and continue overpaying for middling talent. What's interesting is to see the way the USA and China have gone about trying to bring credibility to their league. In comparison the MLS actually looks restrained but both will continue to be places to top-up a pension with the odd talent still in their prime (like Giovinco) taking the chance to be a big fish in a small pond. A few decades down the line however, things could really change.
February 3, 201610 yr Teixeira is on his way to Jiangsu Suning, Jackson Martinez has signed Guangzhou. What's going on? Jorge Mendes is moving his clients to where the new money is. Won't be surprised if Falcao joins them before their window closes.
February 3, 201610 yr Author I'm confused. Didn't the Falcao deal fall through because Martinez wasn't moving to China? Seems he moved a couple of days too late. I think they did it just to piss us off.
February 3, 201610 yr Leicester remind me of that exciting Leeds side all those years ago. It seemed a fairy-tale story that a club rising from the lower leagues coming all the way to the top and challenging for the title and ending up with CL football. Hopefully they don't follow what happened next with Leeds though.
February 3, 201610 yr One more thing to say about Pep at City...remember what happened to his best ever side when they played us at our weakest...
February 3, 201610 yr One more thing to say about Pep at City...remember what happened to his best ever side when they played us at our weakest... Good point. I'm certain that, despite the hype (and the hype will be endless and overblown) Guardiola will take time to adjust to the English game. Klopp at LFC (despite the difference in quality and resources to City) demonstrates the change in approach required of a European manager who is new to our game. English football is still a very different game and throwing money at a manager and players does not guarantee success. Thank God as otherwise we wouldn't have Leicester tearing up the rule book.
