Yep, never understood all of this "he is underrated" talk. He is just very an average footballer who get's away with it because he runs around like a headless chicken. His so called hard work masks his lack of quality.

He also earns more than Robben and Muller.

Hilarious.

If Wenger is not charged with bringing the game into dispute, there's something wrong with the FA. So basically he's been telling the referees how to do their jobs, and in particular how to ref Costa. Such a bitter jealous C*, surely his job is to coach his players, and nothing else. I guess soon he should have his own referees.

Is it me or just teams gave their best against Chelsea, then f* all after that. I expected Palace to put up more of a fight against a tired spurs team, and Everton is back to their usual 0 scoring streaks.

It certainly feels like that at times. And that's why I'm not too confident about next week as Newcastle are one of those sides that seem to find their one great performance of the season when we go there. They can't even produce a performance against Sunderland, but us...

Got to love the impartial bbc...24 hours after predictably writing a huge piece slagging Costa off, in complete contrast, they get mark Lawrensen to say how a draw at home to Norwich was a good performance for Liverpool and a reason to be positive...eh?

Pretty much every other news outlet I've seen is asking the question "how much long does Rodgers have at Liverpool" because of the continued decline in results and performances.

Add on top of that once again he's leaving his big money signings on the bench.

The threw £35m at the Firmino lad and he's not evening starting against Norwich? You've also got Lallana on the bench who set them back a further £25m as well.

They've sent out Balotelli and Markovic on loan who cost them a combined £36m.

He's approach to transfers and team selections is so baffling... Amazed that the BBC have let Lawrenson put up that article.

Exactly, can you imagine if Jose did such a thing, which of course he wouldn't, but you get my point. Brenda doesn't have a spray tan, he has Teflon coating.

I think Rodgers is a decent enough football coach, but as a manager, he is too inept at transfers and sorting out things such as contracts to be successful in the long term, unless he massively improves.

"The last Manchester United player to score on both of his first two Premier League appearances was Federico Macheda in 2009."

I'm sure Martial will be better, but that's worth remembering!

He's right though, the performance Liverpool put in was much, much better than any other games and he acknowledges that the result was a poor one and that they have to do better. There's nothing in that article that's wrong.
