City clearly taking League Cup seriously with a very strong line-up tonight. Have already put 4 past hapless Sunderland who are already dead certs for relegation. Needless to say a goal for KDB.......................

Balotelli scored in the 5th minute against Udinese.

Bayern were 1 nil down to Wolfsburg at half time. Robert Lewandowski came on as a sub in the second half and has scored 5 goals.

Refreshing to see there are still forwards out there who focus on scoring instead of picking up fights.

Moses continues to impress me whenever I see him play. Such a shame Jose doesn't rate him, as he brings something different we don't have in our game. I really hope the new contract he signed signifies our intent on using him and not just a way to increase his price, like Romeu.

We played Motherwell at home tonight. Obviously a much bigger team than us but we absolutely destroyed them start to finish.

The game even got suspended with numerous riot police coming in as their fans were bottling and stabbing each other.

Next up - Rangers. Different game but again, winnable.

That was a really strong team put on by City, I guess they really didn't want lost 3 in a row. I think we will see a pretty strong team from Jose too, any win is a good win right now.

Get enough of this bs from media and oppo, don't need it from our own fans. Diego has an excellent scoring record for us, but 2 goals in 6 in a period the whole team has underperformed and suddenly this is all he does?

Also winning the league cup can really boost a team going for the title so I can see them wanting to win this one. It's actually a good cup to win in that it doesn't disrupt you're league campaign quite like the FA Cup and CL do.

What a signing. To think we could have had him too. A left-footed AM who can play on the right is something I'd love to see us add.
