Just because "journalists" throw some names around, it doesn't mean we've been after even half of the names they mention.

I think alex Sandro would have been wanting to be 1st choice, and we could have ended with a similar scenario to f.luis, and we may have been wanting to keep juventus sweet for some reason.....

With baba, I don't think he will kick up a fuss if he is in and out of the team, and nor sure whether Sandro is as good defensively either.

Rhaman wasn't on the bench for the WBA game because due to our late interest in Pogba we didn't want him wearing the newly assigned number 6 shirt. 

 

By not selecting him the number can be given to Pogba should he sign this week, his old number at Juventus.

I heard he didn't start because he was at a postage stamp convention in Spain. Apparently he is a massive postage stamp collector as is a certain Lionel Messi. My unknown source wanted you all to know that the convention served as the perfect venue for Rahman to exercise his sizable contacts in the stamp collector world to speak to Messi about joining us. No lose situation for someone to say that. If a deal is done is very likely done on deadline day. If not then can make any number of reasons it fell through.

Not even trying to be funny, it seems odd that they would take it off unless it was being kept open for someone else.

 

Not necessarily Pogba though of course.

Maybe we're gonna sign Xavi

 

would be about right with our track record of signing over the hill and past their best players lol we are trying to build the pep guardiola barca side, only 5 years too late lol.
