Respectable debut, makes such a difference having natural width on both flanks

Couple of sloppy passes too but not the worst debut for a 21 year old in a new team.

Oh yeah, very encouraging. Great pace, linked well with hazard, not afraid to get forward and very at ease on the ball. A good debit to build on.

Baba Rahman showed a tendency to get caught out of position a few times during the Maccabi Tel-Aviv match but displayed tenacity to going forward with his runs and pressing movements.

 

Not sure if Mourinho is convinved enough to make him a permanent fixture in the starting eleven.

Looked very promising.

It will be interesting to see if he can play a bit more of disciplined role against more dangerous opposition, but he looked like he could be a good player for us.

Once he has played a few games, I think he will start to time his overlaps better, and put a few more balls in the box. He played it relatively safe for most of the game, which is the best way to earn mourinho's trust anyway.

Looked dodgy defensivley but good going forward gave us a different option and certainly helped Hazard out, He is still young and will learn, very promising just needs to iron out the mistakes.

Baba is young and will have growing pains, just like young players do when they come into the starting 11. Even though it was against Tel Aviv, hes probably the better option to Ivanovic. Ivanovic, unfortunately, has dipped considerably and I dont think that he should be given priority based on past performances. The starting team, yesterday, played very well. It was nice seeing RLC get 78 mins, along with Baba who played the whole game, and awesome to  see Traore come on and cause a bit of havoc. He looks bright. 

Don't understand Jose saying he isn't yet suited to playing in the Premier League, not even selecting him on the bench so he might be able to acclimatise and adapt by getting minutes towards the end of matches.

The logic is lost on me sometimes.
