I know this is a little off topic but if Utd buy Mane. What is considered a 'good' deal?

He was bought for 11.8million so Southampton have got to be asking for at least 16?

My point is (what we all know) Utd are really, REALLY bad at getting deals finalised.

Mane<Pedro

Mane is mostly potential.

He will go for basically the same money as Pedro who is an established multiple time LA Liga and CL winner plus a World Cup European Cup champion.

I think no matter how you look at it we have got the better deal. (IF they do sign Mane.)

Can't believe the excuses coming out already. Some are saying that they don't need Pedro because he won't suit LVG's style and they were stalling on the move because of the "emergence" of Januzaj.

 

What a load of bollocks, United wanted him alright, they were just taking too long to get the deal done.

LVG has no style and if he did would anyone suit it? I'm sure LVG is not of this world.

What pedro will bring to the team is that ability to get on the end of things. He is a very good finisher, and like schurrle, he makes those runs in behind that give the likes of fabregas something to aim for.

I think hazard, Oscar, and willian are guilty at times of not getting in the box enough, they like to be the ones making the assist and getting involved in the build up, rather than sticking the ball in the net. Hazard maybe to a lesser extent, and I think pedro's movement will give costa a little more room to operate aswell.

United have had 60m offer turned down for Muller. They are getting desperate.

marina granovskaia is like our own james bond, female russian spy, isn't she? I wonder if she phones the clubs' boards up and talks with a husky, flirtatious russian accent, causing the higher powers of those clubs to fully surrender to her charms.

I would rather we got a deeper midfielder personally. I wouldn't complain if we did get one of them ( even though i am very sure neither of them will join ) but i think a CM is something we really need.

Well then this is an upgrade on what we have.

Once this is done all our attention should be on a new central midfielder and the remaining Cb spot.

If everton do want Moses, maybe he could change their minds on letting stones go now.

Offer atletico big money for koke, if they turn it down go back for witsel who sounds like he is available.

Seen talk we may want another striker too and Remy may be off.

With Kennedy getting his work permit that leaves us with hazard, Pedro, willian, oscar, cesc, traore, Kennedy, Moses and cuadrado.

We can realistically get shot of cuadrado and one other and still have very good depth now.

I wonder if this will see kenedy go out on loan, even if we get a good 2 years out of Pedro, I think Kenedy will be a top player by that point, and not forgetting Trarore, our dreaded right wing now seems sorted for a number of years
