When Oscar is on form, he makes this team tick.

This is his season. He has to make it his. This could be the season he steps up from being rated on his potential to being rated by his class.

He performs this season or we will be so out.

Enjoyed watching this one. Was able to see it all. Was also in attendance for the PSG match in Charotte. The lads are getting into shape and saw a lot of good things tonight in the first half. First 20 minutes of second half we were dominated but fought back in the final 20 and played failry well considering the lineup.

I believe this tour has better prepared us for the Arsenal match and beginning of PL fixtures.

I have been pleased with Moses this tour and worthly of giving a bench spot. I just don't get the Cuadrado thing.

Hope to see a continuation of the first half pace tonight into the season, but I know not likely. Hate to see Costa with hamstring issues again. So glad we kept Remy and added Falcao. We need a boost in depth at CB (Stones?) and midfield.

Come on you Chelsea!! :blue scalf: :blue scalf:

Another good showing from us, two concerns are the fitness of Costa and Cahill's nose, ideally both will be fit for Sunday but I think Zouma and Remy/Falcao will be able to deputize well if not.

First half was very enjoyable, a lot of great football. Hazard was fantastic as always, Matic and Fabregas held the central and Oscar was active in our attack. Not a bad start for Kenedy, I like the way he changes sides with the long ball. Couldn't watch the second half but watched the highlights, good goal by Cahill and great penalties by our players.

I think we're ready for Arsenal, come on CHELS!

We looked a lot fitter and played with real intensity great to see at this stage of pre season, Costa is a big worry though hope it's not that hamstring again. What a goal from Hazard hope to see more of that this season! Wembley next hope we stuff those arsenal bar stewards.

How did Oscar do? I only watched it from 70mins on when he was off.

I thought he put in a good performance.  PRessed the ball well, some nice link up play, etc.  SOlid showing

I missed the first 20minutes of the game but the rest of the first haf was good. We should have gone up by 3 by half. The midfield looked better than against PSG. Lots of possession from Barca in the second but very few moments did they threaten us.

Here is what Jose said about Diego reguarding his "injury"

As for Costa, Mourinho confirmed that the Spanish international has once again felt something in his troublesome hamstring.

“Diego felt a little thing in his hamstring,” Mourinho said. “We believe it is just a feeling, no more than that, but we have to wait.”

Hopefully just a feeling. It didn't look like he limped off like last season.

No word yet on Cahill if his nose is broken or not. It looked pretty bloody.

Cahill will get a face mask and will play according to Jose.

Thanks for that. I just read an article saying Cahill wouldn't play. So did the team fly straight to London after the match or went back to Montreal?
