Given fabregas' poor recent performances and matic being overworked does Jose need to get Mikel in alongside him till we sort the defence out
August 30, 20159 yr Think RLC or Ramires is needed more than Mikel, someone to help with driving the ball forwards from midfield. Defensively Ivan needs to be dropped because he's the weak link right now, move Dave to right back and I think you'd see an instant improvement in our defensive play. We've spent the best part of £20m on Baba Rhaman, hardly pocket change, so let's see what he can do, it's not like he's going to make things any worse than they already are.
August 30, 20159 yr I would take Chalobah and RLC over Mikel, but Mikel has his uses for sure. I don't think we should get rid of him, however i also disagree that he's a good defensive midfielder, he isn't.Â

August 30, 20159 yr it's hard to look good when you don't get a chance here at chelsea. if RLC would have gone on loan or kenedy also, we would probably hear nothing of them, the same as has happened with the english boys at vitesse, considering they were playing well when they got chances here. i think it's a case of being motivated by proving your worth at the top level with a big club like chelsea, rather than being sent on loan and playing for relegation/championship fodder. i am not saying they shouldn't be motivated, but look at it from their pov and would if you were in their boots your motivation would probably be low too if you were constantly being loaned to sh*t teams. Edited August 30, 20159 yr by enigma
August 30, 20159 yr Some of us remember when we were in the second division!! I have seen it on VHS, the 88/89 season, captained by Graham Roberts, but I didn't surface until 91, earliest memory's are the Hoddle days.

August 30, 20159 yr Matic has been poor so far. We should have someone in the squad who can push him back to form or take his place. If we want to solidify our central midfield we can go to Mikel, rlc and ramires/willian/oscar. Maybe time to go back to a more standard 433

August 30, 20159 yr Author just for clarification I don't believe for a second that we're getting relegated etc. in fact I still think we will win the league truthfully. The title was more to do with Mikel than how our season will finish

August 31, 20159 yr I'm as depressed and pissed of that the site has had an attack of RAWK as i am with our early form...We really do have some whiney, spoilt supporters (and i use that word loosely), criticism is fine but all this 'drama queen' stuff is already getting tiresome.
