Papy Djilobodji?

We've gotten so bad at sealing deals that Emenalo has gone and made a player up.

Since we're apparently going after anyone out of desperation look no further than Ruben Zadkovich of Perth.

 

 

 

So why did we sign this guy? I'm sure there were better short term options out there, We can spend nearly 50 million on Stones, but not Laporte?

But logical thinking would dictate that there must have been some discussion to warrant a second, third and forth bid.

Now we finally have our man, Emenalo deserves all the credit.

Don't know anything about him, but one definite plus is that he's got a name that's easy to create a song for. Rhymes with pretty much anything.

Laporte probably has more potential than Stones, but that is just my opinion.

They've publicly been vocal about not selling, doesn't mean they wouldn't have done eventually. Lots of rumours about the club changing their mind

I watched a lot of him back when he played for US Sénart-Moissy in the Championnat de France amateur - Group D, he's a truly world class talent.

I can understand chasing john stones, as although there wasn't a desperate need for a centre back, jose clearly sees him as top player for the next 10 years.

You would assume we would be back for stones next summer, if we didn't have faith in any of the young players, we could always loan in a player to provide cover for a year.

Seems like a strange signing.

For me it will be bad without a CM aka Pogba. The one player that can improve us instead of being just another body for the ranks. Our lads will recover from fatigue at some point but class is expensive to come buy. This guy clearly is a panic buy. Boulahrouz jumps to mind.

Celtic dropped their interest and paid more some dude from Partizan Belgrade. They didn't even want him. Worrying.
