He has been coming in for some criticism but I think it's a little unfair, usually it takes a Manager 3 transfer window to fully stamp his authority on a team so I think it is a little early to judge. Klopp seems to be getting a lot of plaudits but what the media and us fans need to understand is this is his 3rd window and he has acquired a team from a manager who played using a very similar style hence he is further down the team development phase. Conte on the other hand seemed to have hit the ground running and used the players to tailor the perfect method of playing.

He had a full summer of free spending to get his side together.

He spent an absolute fortune bringing in his own players, I'd expect a top manager with a blank cheque book to at least be challenging for a title. With guys like Silva, De Bruyne, Aguero, Fernandinho, and the guys he brought in you expect far better than what he has served up.

I agree he has so far not met expectations but personally I'll judge during his 2nd season, he is operating in a competitive league in a new Country so the guy is truly out of his comfort zone plus he is up against some absolute top-notch managers. He seems to be set in his way but in the PL it is vital you have a Plan B (Just Like Mourinho against Liverpool), time will tell whether he is able to adapt, so far it doesnt appear so but I'll give him the benefit of doubt for the meanwhile.

Although I don't like him it is very probable that City owners give him a free pass from this first season. They are not Chelsea after all. He is a top manager who is currently struggling in a new league.

Media is overrating Klopp. Pep made bad decisions, too. He let go of Hart who has more heart in the game than Bravo.

Thank god Pep didn't come to Chelsea, just imaging he sells Tibo and make Barvo as our GK :laugh2: He would sell half of our players for not having the required passing ability. It appears not only he doesn't train the team to defend, they don't practice shooting much either.

In 2012 City hired Txiki Begiristain as their director of football, to bring in pep type players. They have been preparing for him since then.

I`m kinda sorry but City didn`t score much either, h?

So far they score only 41 goals, while they concede 26. While we score 45 and concede only 15. :D
We are better offensive and defensive team. :D

Don`t want to talk about Mourinho team scoring only 32 goals ... :laugh2:

From top 6 we and Tothenam are the only team to concede less then 20 goals, 14 for Tothenam and 15 for us ....

Up to now i havnt been impressed with his tactics or his composure.Stubborn enough to keep playing a very poor keeper. As i said on the Conte thread, good for him,who cares.

Pep had 3 of the most expensive CB's in prem history in Stones, Otamendi and Mangala at the start of the season and is shipping goals for fun. I actually feel a bit bad for the bloke, he's clearly out his depths in a league with so much competition. I can see him being at PSG within the next 4 years and dominate that league, then retiring.

As said before so far he hasn't been able to implement his system to City and to Prem. Maybe he needs to tweak it or buy different players for it or even ditch the system. He has succeeded extremely well with Barca and well with Bayern. Nothing suggests he couldn't repeat it with City... Apart from this first half of the season of course.

If he is stubborn with the system he might well fall and get sacked. I don't see it happening anytime soon though.

I was so down when he picked City over us and especially at the start of the season when we were struggling and city were flying but well..... think it's fair to say I'm not down anymore. Lol

So peps genius way to coach his way out of this problem? Buy messi. Genius.

That is our way of taking care or problems [emoji1]. Chelsea-trademark stuff!

But the media said this season was pep v jose Pt2 /...

... still a big chance neither Manc clubs will be in the champions league next season.:laugh2:
