October 26, 201510 yr He was lucky enough to inherit one of the most talented teams in the history of football in Barca, sure he did mold the team but are you seriously trying to say that somebody else with all that talent and players in their prime wouldn't have achieved something similar? Since at Bayern the team has gone backwards not forwards, Bayern used to play some dazzling football under Heynckes and now they are a 1 dimensional pass side to side team. Arsenal have shown time and time again that Bayern are completely beatable. I'm not the biggest advocate of Mourinho at this moment in time but firing him and hiring a pass fetish Spanish Brendan Rodgers isn't the answer
October 26, 201510 yr Im not sure where you come from and I could be wrong but do you come from Barcelona by any chance? Lol
October 26, 201510 yr Very tempting and if we were guaranteed to get him it is tough to decide between him and Jose but i would take Jose because of how much he cares about the club. They both have a brilliant CV, different methods but great results. But Jose cares and Jose loves Chelsea.
October 26, 201510 yr Maybe it's just me, it's disrespectful for discussing a replacement in the general forum when our manager is trying to fix the sh1t we are in. Pep will be a top candidate if Jose leave, until that time it's really not healthy to speculate it. He's not coming on Monday if Jose get the sack, so we will do with a BR or Sherwood for the remainder for the season,
October 26, 201510 yr IF Jose goes, i think it will be Pep tbh. With City potential lurkers should Pellegrini go i think Roman would throw absolutely everything he can at Pep and offer him whatever the f**k he wants. Interim will be Hiddink. Thats just opinion. If Jose went, itd be Hiddink until summer with pre-agreement with Pep Edited October 26, 201510 yr by RickUK

October 27, 201510 yr good article for those who want to read up a little more about him. it doesn't go in depth, but gives a little detail on his methods and coaching beliefs. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2465729-the-complete-evolution-of-pep-guardiola-from-barcelona-to-bayern-munich
October 27, 201510 yr Doesn't really matter if he turns out to be a failure eventually but right now we do need a change of more positive philosophy.. I see him as the benchmark for that change.. The most important thing is the players, if we have them happy and motivated, chance is we're already winning half the battle.. certainly would be better than the current show.. 15th after 10 games can not gives us any more evident about a disjointed dressing room.. Manager comes and goes, the club would still be there fighting..
October 27, 201510 yr yes Pep got rid of Zlatan.... just a season after Pep has splashed about 70 million on him and used him ineffectively. And when did this Pep discovered Messi myth begin? I was playing with Messi on FIFA with Argentina before Pep ever managed him (ya Riquelme and Crespo!). Messi started making senior appearances in 2004. Pep started managing the senior team in 2008. Ronaldinho claimed Messi would be even better than him many years before Pep managed Barca's senior side. Pep turned that Barca team into the best team possibly of all time and incorporated Messi into the false 9 position which in turn showed his abilities to the max, that's what I meant. I don't even like the bloke but don't underestimate his achievements at Barca. Bayern is where he's been poor.

January 16, 20179 yr Crazy how far off the pace they are given Pep was giving a blank cheque when he arrived. On top of that, expensive players were allowed to leave on loan. Nasri, Bony, Mangala. He's had complete control but hasn't settled on a starting XI. He's even bought Toure in from the cold after looking like he wanted nothing to do with him. He's flip flopped between a three and four man defence. Considering he's regarded as one of the best five coaches in world football it's bizarre that he's seemingly struggling so much with implementing his style on the team.
January 16, 20179 yr I like his football philosophy.. He's struggling at the moment, mainly because he underestimate the importance of having the right players for his backline.. The preference of claudio bravo really make him look stupid.. Seeing his city struggling like this is a joy but if he manages to enhance his backline with the right players, his side could be a real threat but until then, time to haha..

January 16, 20179 yr He looks totally uninterested in English football from his body language and of course that horrendous interview the other week. He was never a long term manager in his pomp but now with the struggles do we expect him to stick around given his motivation seems to have taken a big hit? If he can't fix City with the resources he has at his disposal that will go down as one of the biggest failures of the big names.
January 16, 20179 yr Everyone fails at one point. Jose's failure last term was beyond imaginable. I have never liked Pep. He is a control freak of worst kind.
January 16, 20179 yr A very similar style manager to AVB, the only difference is that AVB didn't get the chance to manage the 2 best teams of the last decade.
