Thought Hazard was the 1st of the roster to take penalties?. Would be livid if Oscar forced it.

Hazard hasn't took them since he f**ked up the cup game penalty.

It's even stranger that Costa didn't take the pen given he was on a hattrick.

Despite his display last week I think Oscar might be off in January, particularly if Teixeira signs as the rags are saying he will.

I guess we would have lost that a few weeks ago, nice to see Costa actually show some instinct around the area. 

 

One thing that bugs me- why is it we come to the area, and our only pass seems to be a little reverse through ball to Ivanovic? The midfielders need to step up and make a move, at the moment we are very easy to defend against.

We all knew he'd have a low key game because he ALWAYS does after a half decent outing the game before. He's got no consistency and hasn't progressed as a footballer some we signed him

He wasn't unlucky. He was just bad today. It was an awful decision for him to take the penalty. There wasn't a weaker player today in our team.

We should be busy in the summer, possibly three new defenders needed, they make Titus Bramble look like God. Replacements for Matic and Fabregas needed, I'm not sure on Costa, he's been very poor at times, but he's had about as much service as a car on a scrap heap, depressing times, I wish this season would just end, 2-2 is a useless result.

Until we replace a slow Ivanovic, Terry and Cahill we will continue to loose alot of points. Oscar and Fabregas are not far behind on the list of players I want replacements for either.

I remember when Lampard took penalties, for a time he would hardly miss one, he stepped up and hammered it in, same with Lebourf before him, same with Ballack, now we have Oscar and Hazard trying to do fancy sh*t, just hit it hard for f*cks sake, there's a reason Shearer only missed about one.

Should've won that. Fact we didn't is down to mistakes from the p**s-poor Matic and a shocking penalty miss from Oscar.

Yep and Tiitus Bramble is a free agent, I'd even lend him my boots, he may get some blisters but he'd still be the best centre back in the club currently.

Mikel was excellent today. So I think that is unkind.

A slow defense wasn't even the problem today though. They handled things the same way a quick defense would handle it, the problem was basic error's. Matic's handball and Cahill's so called attempt at defending was the problem, nothing to do with a slow defense.

True, but they've been awful all season.

commentator at the end of the stoppage time: they've deserved a point. yeah right. giveaway penalty and a lucky deflection goal and that's about it.
