Mikel, absolutely outstanding today, gave us a great controlling base in midfield.

Delighted to say I was wrong bout mikel. But hopefully he can get even better after today. Mikel motm for me.

Costa for me , but the whole team played well

Mikel, loved that performance by him today. If he can play like that all season, then he deserves to be starting ahead of Matic for the rest of the season. Calmness and no loss in concentration. His performance today gave the other midfielders freedom to do what they do best.

I'd say Willian is my MOTM with Mikel being a close second.

Mikel - I'd keep him in there for a few games he just looks so assured he's one of those players who has more time than anyone else.

If it wasn't for Mikel, Cesc would be deadweight. Special mentions for Costa, Zouma and Azpi who is always a contender but I think I've grown to take for granted a bit due to how consistently good he is.

Mikel second game in a row for me

Great performance from Mikel, very Makelele like.

Mikel deserved to be man of the match - his passing was 100% accurate and he was a Rock in the middle of the pitch. He is an "unselfish team player" and despite his critics and long spells left on the bench, he has never complained during his many years at Chelsea.

Mikel,cool ,calm and collected.Good team effort also.

Mikel was superb, but I have to vote for Willian. Goal and assist made the game safe.

Mikel for me, was the cooling head in the midfield furnace, allowed Cesc license to play, big ups to everyone else, JT superb, Willian excellent again, Costa showing last years form, and hoping Hazard isn't badly injured, he'll do well in this new look Chelsea...

Costa for me. Got his head down and worked hard. Led by example.

Mikel was faultless. Costa was also quality, and I thought ivanovic had a solid game aswell.
