I regrettably was one of them that wanted to give AVB time and at one point i made a massive post explaining why in detail and got about 25 likes, which for a forum of TC's size is astronomical. I can't find the AVB thread but this was the post match thread for his last game and the consensus definitely was that it was more the players, Lamps especially.

http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/12433-west-brom-1-0-chelsea/

I would say it's evenly split there, just as many want him gone then they do want him to stay in the later pages. "Get the f**k out AVB" from Naked Molerat.

I just remember the nob heads like Henrique, Terminator X and that Justin_3d who were constantly negative and wanted every manager to go. In the AVB thread there was a lot of bashing from very early on when he started to lose a period of games.

Maybe they were just idiots here to troll

A lot of the old guard on this forum complain about how bad it is here but for me, it's like a breath of fresh air. TalkChelsea makes this forum look like the Ritz when comparing behaviour. Much MUCH better forum, they deal with trolls a lot better.

I love how you keep upping the Morata price to suit a narrative, very subtle at hiding your agenda there. But you didn't even add Palmieri's bonuses to the transfer...

There was no mention of money, you literally said "Nah he's a good signing" but..but he has barely pla.."GOOD SIGNING", I guess it's just a shame you didn't take a liking to Morata, otherwise you would probably be defending the living dying soul out of him now.

I've gave you several reasons on several occasions why Emerson was a good signing. You just keep moving the goal posts.

Even with bonuses Emerson cost us £25m, great player for the price considering that is less than City paid for Danilo. Half of what City paid for Mendy. Hell it is even less than Utd paid for Shaw. Bargain.

Seeing as it seems Morata is back to Juve in summer his fee was £58m. Still far too much with the sh*te performances he's given.

Every source says Morata's fee was 60m pounds, you keep saying 70m to try and make it sound more than it is. Even if that's added bonuses you still conveniently forgot to add the bonuses on Emerson's transfer.

If Emerson proves to be a good player he's a bargain, which I think he will he looks good so far. But nothing was guaranteed and I tried telling you that but you wouldn't listen, you just kept on insisting that he's a great player when he played like 1 cup game.

And I'm not arguing against Emerson, I'm just pointing out the obvious fanboyism.

Did you read my last post? I've included bonuses to Emerson's fee and taken them out of Morata's and Emerson's still looks like a better deal.

You're clearly not reading my posts so i'll type it out again for you. I'd watched Emerson many times whilst at Roma so knew what we were signing. My opinion wasn't from one cup game as you keep falsely saying, it was from many games in Italy.

No fanboyism, just logical thinking. Or am i not allowed to have an opinion if it differs to yours?

I truly believe that the only chance we have of doing anything in the final is to sack Antonio right now, get someone new in like Morris or Lampard to rejuvenate the players, change the setup/tactics and make one last push for a trophy.

The players aren't playing for Conte anymore, and Antonio clearly couldn't care less about anything since he's gone in a week no matter what.

Breaking news: Antonio Conte sacked by Chelsea. Tim Sherwood expected to take over on a 6 year contract, with John Carver joining him as assistant manager. The appointment of Steve Kean as first team coach is expected to be finalised in the coming days.

I sense sarcasm in this post? You think a tactical change isn't needed when you're being absolutely battered?

when players are playing this sh*t nothing can fix it, i would have made no changes and made them go to the supporters with that performance after the game

they can get the manger fired without being this bad

I think a change in formation can help massively. Drag a CB off and stick another attacker on and take the game to them. The worst that can happen is we keep losing, the best is we nick a few goals. Conte hasn't got the balls to change his 5 defenders, ultra defensive instructions though. Even today, when we needed a win to have the slightest chance of Champions league football.

Another dubious line up. Another sign of sabotage. Bakayoko, Barkley (who hasn't played for months) in a 3-5-2 against NEW f**king CASTLE. We literally had 3 attack minded players on the pitch against NEWCASTLE today. Conte has been an absolute DISGRACE this season. I never thought I'll see a manager of such standing go out of his way to intentionally destroy a season because he didn't get what he wanted. Even Jose in all his moments of madness always wanted to win because he was a born winnner. It's clear in these last 2 games, Conte didn't try his best to win so could punish us before he f**ked off.

How I wish we could sack him now so he could get the black mark of a sack on his CV but it won't happen though because of a couple of million pounds more we'll have to give him as our season isn't yet over. I don't trust him in the FA cup final. Not only is his record in cup competitions awful, I'm convinced he'll try and pull the same sh*t and play some dubious line-up and formation that will cause us to lose the game. This man is now literally the manager I like the least since I've been following this club for 19 years. Please kindly f**k off now!

even with defensive lineup we gave up 3 goals, if it was 0-0 i would have gone another attacker but 3 down wat it is the point

yes, that would have fixed the problem

After that sh*t first half I would expect every manager to make a change, the players was dog sh*t and it needed shaking up, it was just 1-0 then. It's great management to leave it till the 80th min to make subs every game.

Who knows, in an attacking formation we keep more of the ball and pin Newcastle back. Conte seems to get a hard on by sitting deep and inviting pressure so that we can 'learn to struggle without the ball'.

again after that performance who would you replace there were so many candidates

I could stomach a 3-0 loss to Newcastle a little easier if we were trying to play some nice football and attack and they were genuinely better than us. What i can't take is the ultra defensive line up and tactics employed by our manager. Totally gutless.
