Just tuned in. Saw the scoreline and felt good. But I'm getting the feeling that the scoreline is a bit misleading about the performance?

So happy Eden finally scored!!

 

Going forward we have been good, but as usual a team is playing one pass through our midfield and they create a chance. It's been another really poor performance defensively. Hiddink thought it would be a good idea to play Mikel at CB, that is clearly not working though and if a youngster had played as bad as this, they would have been taken off at half time. Not for the first time this season, we are seeing the senior players get unfair favouritism.

William is just another Ramires, can do a job on the wing tracking back but doesn't have the quick brain or creativity to play in the middle like Fab or Ozil

It's been going on for a while now. I remember a 0-0 with Sunderland a few season's back, i was waiting for someone to have a shot on goal but we just kept trying to walk it in. I think this was the 2013-14 season.

That was good defending from Ivanovic. Used his strength really well there.

I wonder if Mikel aims for an OG it'll turn out to be class defending

I know something else we need to look for in the summer, someone who can take a damn corner. I can't remember the last time a corner found one of our players. I don't even get excited for them anymore.
