So Miazga was hooked at half time against Swansea when the defence was looking suspect.

We look worse today but I'm guessing Mikel and Ivanovic will both emerge for the second half

One pass through our midfield opens us up about 10 times in every single game, no wonder why we concede so many. How we haven't sorted that out at any point this season is just baffling.

 

Good counter attack after though, Pedro probably should have done better with the finish.

Got lucky twice then, first with the shoulder barge (player stayed up, fair play) but that tackle looked like a penalty. 

 

Mikel's performance has been worse than Miazga's at Swansea. Will Hiddink drag him off?

Miazga for Mikel I know its not much but Mikel has no instincts to play at centre back. Its not his fault he's a damn midfielder so at least put someone in with a bit of knowledge of how to play at centre. Or maybe drop to 3 with Ivan, Baba, Dave and then bring kenedy and someone else back

Why is it that this season our midfield is overrun with one pass EVERY time. Absolutely bonkers. Anyway, we're up which is good. Bournemouth are horribly wasteful in possession, though. And Mikel, well ... poor lad!

Until now the player that made mistakes that led to goals or was worst on the pitch, he was replaced in the second half (Baba, Miazga), should be Mikel now.

Actually feel a tad anxious about the second half, so hoping for some adjustment.

Well, it's been an entertaining first half, going forward we look a threat and it's good to see Fabregas opening them up, but one pass through our midfield and we are in big trouble. We really need to sort that next season, teams have been running at our defense too easily all season. It's not acceptable for our midfield to be taking out of the game this easily, the defense is constantly exposed.

The highlight of the first half, undoubtedly, is Mikel's hilariously bad performance as a central defender for Chelsea. Matt Miazga must be utterly useless if Hiddink keeps the Nigerian out for the second half.

It's not Mikel's fault. I know we're all having fun slating him but he's not a defender.

 

Thing is when you're inexperienced you need someone telling you where to be and Ivanovic isn't a good enough player either. Miazga suffered playing against him at Swansea so it's hard to know if there would be much improvement moving Mikel.

 

Ivanovic has been awful in central defence but seems to go under the radar which is impressive for someone with such a fat arse.

Crazy isn't it ? One simple pass through our midfield and they are running at our defense. It wouldn't happen if Makelele was here you can guarantee that, he would sit there and stop anything coming through. We need someone like him right now, Matic was that for the first half of last season but he doesn't seem to want to do it anymore.

Terrible defending. If whoever stole the actual Matic can return him please that would be nice. This Matic-lite version is bloody awful. Mikel needs to be moved back into position and Matic needs to go off.

Begovic has been awful also. We're in the strife if Tibault leaves.

Good link up play up from should have had three bar Pedro's selfishness.

We should by rights win this. But who knows these days.
