Alvaro Morata

I feel like we should start some kind of fund raiser.
"Morata4Conte Fund"
If everyone here donates at least £100,000 each, we could probably raise enough.

If RM want £100 million for Morata and Conte rates him that highly his talent and his youth says you pony up the cash

Thou shalt not break the Torres transfer record of 50 million pounds.  It's carved in stone.

If we're gonna battle with Milan over these 3 guys that's another issue the Italian clubs are all filthy as they come many run by the mob

They wouldn't mess with the Russian...

not gonna lie, i got a bit more excited about aubameyang than morata, but if we compare ages than morata would probably be favoured. i do like the pace that aubameyang possesses and his aerial threat though, especially on the counter.

Real doesn`t have money problem. They can sign who they want. It`s easy as that. They don`t depend on us, to spend the money on Morata, so they can spend the money on someone else. That`s b.s.

Real nowadays are not as blasé as they used to in regards to transfers. They don't need money but they don't necessarily want to spend huge figures on 1 player either. Post-Bale they haven't been as eager to spend huge (40m+) on any 1 player. James was the last 60m player and even then they evened that out with the Di Maria sale.

That being said they also spent 40m on an unproven 16yr old Brazilian playing in Brazil.

How I long for the days when the newspapers and television told us what HAD happened, rather than trying to look good by telling us what was going to happen.

It's sad that the print media have to make breaking news just so that they can beat the twitter ITKs on who breaks what story first.

I think that these days of "I want it all and I want it NOW" twattery means that all of the media, press and television want to make news rather than report it.

It's why interviewers ask stupid questions, to provoke  an unguarded response that they can then spin into a "story"

Just look at how Sky ran and re-ran Drog's cussing after the Barca game, or convicted Costa for a stamp against the dippers.  Totally ignored both of that scroat Aguero's two-footed jumps because it didn't suit their agenda.

Rumour has it that Real have named their price for a double deal for both Morata and Danilo = £88m
I think we'd be mad not to pursue it.

Doubtful that any rumours we hear are true these days, but if we were offered the pair for that amount, i'd say take it.

The rumoured €100m euro price for Morata and Danilo is certainly lower than previously stated...but still overpriced...looks like PEA is staying at BD and AC Milan are aiming for Belotti...which means that Morata has no where else to go...Morata has previously stated he doesn't want to go back to Italy...so I think the board will wait it out till Madrid start smelling the coffee...I would be surprised if we end up paying any more than £70m for the both...

This board loves playing with fire. We either get both for "low prices" or get nothing.

Never a dull moment

Yes that is what I have been saying, Chelsea know exactly what they are doing, Real Madrid were being unreasonable so Chelsea decided to be patient and wait till all our competitors were out the way, now Real realise we are the only club who can realistically buy Morata, so they can't get a bidding war now they have to negotiate with us, and we will get at a fair price now I feel

SIGNED

TRYING TO SIGN
Alvaro Morata
Renato Sanches

Funny thing is we have been associated with most of these players.Maybe Conte gave both clubs the same shopping list???

Also, if the new Milan owners are spending so much, wont they be serious enough to first look for a World Class manager?

Anyways, I really hope this doesnt turn out to be true

The problem with this is that we've been linked with pretty much everyone on a daily basis - That's Chelsea for you. I'm sure if you was to make a list of all the players we've been linked with, some of those players would be the same players ac milan were linked with/bought.

70 mil for morata is fair 30 for Danilo is a bit high

Not really. Think about it, Michael Keane was signed for 30m, Sandro over 60m, even Sigurdsson is 50m. I'd say 88m for the pair in the current state of the transfer market is a great price.

I agree, but knowing us we'll be waiting til they reduce it down to 60m or something.

True, but with Dortmund pulling Auba from the market is also weakened our hand as there are less options for us as well.
