Funny to see their fans rejoicing over this, especially as they gloated so much over getting him. "It's the job he really wanted" "The chosen one" "We're classy and don't sack managers like Chelsea do" Obviously they have found the post Fergie reality a sobering experience. They could have years of instability and managerial round-about fun. I wonder if Spurs are nervous, although why would Pocchettino go there at the moment? Looking back Man Utd found the post Sir Matt Busby era really difficult and they had many, many years of 'instability and managerial round about fun'. Including relegation in 1973-74. It wasn't until Ferguson (who really looked to be on his way out during 1989/90,) won the FA Cup in May 1990 and then Cup Winners Cup the following season that it was finally turned. round. Ferguson I don't think would be given the same time and space today. It's a completely different football era.
December 19, 20187 yr I'm fairly sure that, regardless of new manager, United can turn this season around. All they need to do is bring one of their famous stars out of retirement
December 19, 20187 yr Been quite fed up with the cnut for quite some time... he's been nagging about his personal record ever since the beginning. I won this, I won that bla bla bla... When we met you he wanted you to respect him for what he did there, when we've played in europe it's been about what he achieved there... Who the hell cares about what you achieved in the past when you've served us sh*t for breakfast for the last three years?!

It is sad how he can only look back now and because of his current failings has to keep reminding everyone about how good he USED to be. Really would be an ideal fit for the Dippers these days with that kind of thinking.
December 19, 20187 yr I really don't know what Gary Neville sees sometimes and it's no wonder so many United fans have fallen out with him. How can he possibly say that many years from now people can look at Jose's tenure at United as a success? Because he won 2 (oh sorry 3, the mighty community shield) cups in his first season. He's spent a ridiculous amount of money and hasn't even upgraded the side, they look worse than where they left off with Van Gaal. Conte had a much harder job than Jose ever did and he won the league in his first season and an F.A. Cup in his second, compared to Jose's United tenure that would make Conte the greatest manager if you're setting these ridiculous standards for Mourinho. Every other team has upgraded except United, nobody even fancied United as title contenders before the season went in. All their fans vented frustration and all the self-proclaimed experts like Rio Ferdinand were so far up their own ass they couldn't see that United had huge problems. I'm really happy by the way, I never wanted Jose to succeed at United, I didn't hate him for going there we sacked him, but I'm so glad he was never successful there and quite honestly I never thought he would be.

Alonso and Willian are not average and I can quite honestly believe that nothing in this statement is even remotely satire on your end.

IMHO Jose got lazy after his last Prem Title. I am sure he believed he had all the answers.

That he was happy to burn bridges with Chelsea and the fans in order to try and make a success of that job speaks volumes to me. He might be putting a brace face on it but this sacking and this failure is going to hurt his pride a lot. I would say he burnt bridges with us mainly because he couldn't cope with the fact we moved on from him so easily, there wasn't just the Conte making a mug out of him thing which would have hurt him enough, his sh*t show followed by Conte's amazing job destroyed the cult he built up at Chelsea that at one point looked like it would never go away, between his two spells we wanted him back so badly (even when Carlo won the double a lot of us would have still took Jose back in a heartbeat) but since he left the second time i doubt even his strongest fan in the CFC fanbase would take him back, those two things coming home to roost at the same time must have hurt badly and it showed with his constant lashing out. If he had any sense he would stay away from Italy, Inter are the one remaining club with fans who still remember him for who he was, if he allienates them which he could do by either returning and doing sh*t or joining a rival, he will have no allies left. Neville's refusal to be that harsh on Jose is (aswell as the cult of giving managers 4,000 years to build a team anyone associated to Fergie's era in in) blatantly because he knows he will throw Valencia back in his face.

Alonso showing he struggles in a back 4 and Willian doing what he's always done (not much). Neither player would start for Barca, City, PSG. Probably wouldn't even get in Spurs team ffs.

December 19, 20187 yr The funny thing is we have won the league twice with one of them being a regular contributor and the other was the main left back for a premier winning side. Now that may reflect on the managers acumen or it may indicate they are also good players at times.

On the topic of Bakayoko though, he's proving in Milan why we spent big on him. Just a real shame he couldn't do it for Chelsea.

December 20, 20187 yr Just like the last Chelsea job, he was doing what he could to get fired. He just doesn't look happy, maybe the decade at clubs demanding immediate success has taken a toll on him. Take a break like Conte, he could afford a long one if not forever. Or, watch out for the upcoming Bayern job and knock Liverpool out of the CL next year, wouldn't that be fun

Just a real shame he couldn't do it for Chelsea. So? You said he was going to be the signing of the season last season, clearly didn't happen did it. And he's still far far away from Chelsea material, some good games at Milan won't change that. But anyway, nobody would knock you for that, but since you're going around proclaiming you have some Psychic ability it's amusing to watch you try and brush that off as irrelevant to the topic. The whole topic was started from you boasting about being right all the time and saying "this player is sh*t, this player is sh*tter, this player is the greatest, you're all dumb and I'm even better".

December 21, 20187 yr Any big club stupid enough to sign him deserve to get ripped off. His new scam is now signing a big contract before throwing a strop to get himself sacked and receive a big pay day.
