He’s a busted flush. Can only see him working in Italy where they’re not overly fussed about attractive football.

Reckon he'll take a sabbatical for a while, clearly needs it, hasnt looked like he's enjoyed his football for years now. Can see him managing Portugal or an international team now

Iv'e always said he would go to the States after utd. 

Holy sh*t it actually happened. This automatically makes United less detestable now.

I'm very happy that his tenure at Old Trafford was a failure. He'll keep going on abot winning 3 titles for us but I'll credit that mostly to our players. He had so much money to spend and all he had to show for it was a Europa League and a League Cup.

He spent 70-80million on 2 centre backs and then had the gaul to say "I need money for more centre backs"

His interviews are extremely tiresome as well. Can't answer simple questions. If I was the interviewer and asked "Do you think you got 100% from your players today?" and his response was "What do you mean?/You Tell Me" I would just walk away because it's pointless.

Hopefully doesn't end up back at madrid since hazard fancies working under him again. I do t think Ramos was his biggest fan though.

Maybe a return to inter.

I think his style of management would be better in international football. He wouldn't have to worry about friction over transfers, he would spend less time with the players to fall out with them, and national teams care more about results than style.

Him coaching in international football would be funny AF

Three years ago we sacked him on the 17th of December, United sacked him on the 18th.

December is not a great month for Mourinho.

Didn't expect him to be sacked this soon. Crazy it's happened on nearly the same date as we sacked him three years ago.

Part of me is relieved he's left Manchester United, meaning he will never cement any positive legacy there, but now I worry they'll start performing to expectations with him gone.

Definitely needs a sabbatical. He's long overdue for one.

My Husband is pleased as he can reignite his Man-love for Mourinho now he is no longer at Manu. Funny to see their fans rejoicing over this, especially as they gloated so much over getting him. "It's the job he really wanted" "The chosen one" "We're classy and don't sack managers like Chelsea do"

Obviously they have found the post Fergie reality a sobering experience. They could have years of instability and managerial round-about fun.

I wonder if Spurs are nervous, although why would Pocchettino go there at the moment?

Good on your Jose, getting a huge payout after the usual third season blue, damn people just never learn about Jose I'm sure he won't be taking another job in England, so all the best to the future.

The pundits keep talking about "One of them has to go"... and I keep asking myself... why just one?

I'd get rid of both of them. If I want a fresh start. If I want to show that no one is bigger than the club, I'd ship Pogba out as well.

Interesting now to see who comes in after the caretaker, I would if I was a gambling addict plump for either Le Blanc or Zidane.

For me Mourinho will probably seek another European top job in the Summer though like Coco has suggested could well end up in the US.
