Utd resorting to hoofing it against a Belgian team worth a fraction of the money...this is hilarious

Did you see Tottenham - Gent, The Brit?

ugo ehiogu has passed away. he collapsed yesterday. was spurs u23 coach. that's sad and unexpected.

Will always remember his OF goal against Celtic, overhead kick out of nowhere.

Dreadful news for someone only 44 years old, thoughts with his friends and family.

For the umpteenth time, nerves about what chelsea are doing on the pitch are put in perspective...was getting really worried about tomorrow's game and the title race...feel rather silly and empty now...don't know the guy obviously, but it's so sad, and scary too...hes just two years older than me and an awful lot fitter, no doubt...and yet...

Was a heart attack I believe. Go get yourself a general health check anyway. There's people half that age who suffer cardiac arrests. You never know when your time is up, but at least you can feel some comfort in knowing these circumstances are extremely rare for a young person, let alone somebody younger and fit.

Already have mate, at start of the year, and was told off for my cholesterol levels...been working on it since, but another reminder to keep at it

Dunno your workout routine or if u have one, but even regular brisk walks in the morning or in evening are helpful. Ideally exercising on an empty stomach is more beneficial. Good to keep yourself as stress free as possible; that's another problem people often overlook. Im not a doctor though haha, just some things I've read.

This is the wrong place for that lol

CL semi final draw:

Real vs Atletico

Monaco vs Juve

Honestly see Juve struggling vs monaco. Monaco are playing brilliant atm and juve haven't been tested much in this campaign, and have had a relatively easy ride vs porto and a poor barca side. Would like to see monaco win the whole thing, but worry their players won't wanna leave if it happens.

In a way I hoped Juve would meet Monaco in the final but it also means that it won't be a Madrid derby in the final which is always a good thing.

Want Juve to win it though for Buffon

utd have entered the europa at the ideal time. sevilla aren't in it, and the quality of the competition is poor right now. i think lyon may be the best of the lot, but in a final utd will have the advantage. can't look past celta vigo though, they will really want that place in next years champs league. i thought anderlect performed well last night, but their decision making and finishing was off otherwise utd would have been out.

Just a shame Lyon and Ajax play each other, either would have been a stern test for United.

I can't see past United now though, what's Jose's record like in finals?

Only ever lost two one at Porto and one at Real in there equivalents of the FA Cup.

Not good omen for this then, I assumed it was quite high given what he done with us in them.

Maybe they will suffer from burnout with guys like Rojo and Zlatan looking crocked although they do have a pretty large squad so maybe that won't be as big a deal.

Be horrible to see them win that cup, not only because it will be a Jose United media w**k fest but them getting CL football will be a huge incentive for getting players like Greizmann.

ibrahimovic out for rest of the season, ruptured cruciate ligament apparently. horrible to see him land like he did and thought straight away it was similar to zouma's injury. gotta be his time up at top level now hasn't it?

f**king hell, rojo also out with cruciate ligament. as much as utd are rivals that's sh*t to hear. i can't imagine 2 of our most in form players both getting a similar injury in a single game.

Terrible news about Ugo Ehiogu.

RIP

Awful news indeed and so sorry to hear it. RIP Ugo. It puts everything into perspective and for me personally it's a particularly poignant reminder.

My 35 year Son suffered a cardiac arrest on the steps into Wembley Stadium as he headed to the 2015 League Cup Final against Spurs. Thanks to the fantastic paramedics on the scene he survived it, and is still recovering. There is more to life than football but .....my Son is alive and will be there again tomorrow cheering on the team we all love.

There is no doubt in my mind whatsoever that despite the rivalries, the fans of both teams will fully respect the tributes to Ugo, whether it be silence or applause.

Out for 8-9 months apparently. Was surprised he managed to walk off the picture afterwards, might make a quicker recovery.

I have seen it loads of times, i don't understand it really. Just use the stretcher, why risk further damage by walking off the pitch ?

I think that will be it at this level for Ibrahimovic now. It was doubtful that he would sign a new deal for United at the end of the season anyway and now i'm sure he won't. He won't be back for a long time and when he is back he will probably need another year to get back to his best. So by then he would 37. I just can't see United taking that risk and i can't see Ibrahimovic waiting around that long. If he doesn't retire then i think he will go somewhere else to play.
