Yea, he was offside when he tried to head in the first cross, therefore the ref surely has to blow the whistle, how was he not interfering with play? Strange decision.

Well, that tie is over. No way are Atletico Madrid getting back into that one. Diego Simeone's tactics aren't working as well as they used to. Real Madrid seem to have it sussed now. I don't think he will ever manage to beat Real Madrid with Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.

Juve need to go through. No way Monaco can even compete with Real. Real look so strong... I don't remember Ronaldo pulling the tricks out and dribbling, like he did for this match, for a long time. It was great to watch.

He's a smart footballer. He knows he doesn't have the speed or quickness of feet that he did 2/3 years back.

His positioning,  movement and goal instinct make him a ideal fox in the box.

He still has a few years at the top because he can just slot into that striker role.

He just doesn't have the personnel this year (or last year for that matter). This is a team with just good and not world class players (except one or two) who constantly overachieve.

He's undoubtedly become just that over the last two years with great success. Which is why I was surprised to see him suddenly going past players with ease today...

I hate him with a passion but .....you just can't argue he is amazing ! Without him Man Utd would be less one champions league, Real less two, Portugal wouldn't have come close to a European cup, he kicks Messi into oblivion, imagine what he would do at Barca or Chelsea !! (god forbid)  !

United got mugged off big time by Real, A decades worth of action, 400 + goals, Baloon d'ors for fun, Commercial revenue through the roof and all for what, A pesky £80 million? There's a message there for Chelsea also with Hazard, You never sell these type of elite players, No amount of money will justify it.

anyone else growing a bit bored of the champions league? i am feeling a bit like that towards it. not just because we aren't in it, but it's always the same old clubs making it through to the final. over the last 3/4 seasons it's been an all madrid final, and a real madrid vs juventus final. if juventus get through, it will be another real/juve final. god forbid real madrid winning another final; it is kind of sickening tbh.

Ronaldo might be a very selfish footballer, but he is a really game winner. Impressed me so much.

I still can't find out what is so special in Koke? Watching Kroos and Modric, I can't even compare them with him.

Real didn't play Juve in the final, that was Barcelona
