UEFA looking at how penalty shoot-outs take place.

Stupid change request as usual. Just leave the game alone. Change the offside rule, change penalty kicks, bring in sin bins, enough already. The game is fine as it is.

i twitted him about this....he came back..."Club World Cup?"

i said "Ajax haven't won the club world cup".....waiting for a response.

It doesn't follow his agenda. He wants to make it look like United are doing something no other English team has managed to do, so now he is moving things around to suit his article. Pathetic really.

hope utd fall flat on their faces and miss out on the cl. there's never been any other club in england as far as the media are concerned, and we'll hear them rambling on about who they will sign in the summer and jose's second season. i wouldn't be surprised to see utd as media favourites to win the league next year.

I'll add the personal worst aswell when they wanted to widen the goal posts.

If they're not continually trying to change things and coming up with initiatives people will start to question what all these highly paid officials are actually doing for their money and we've seen the outcome when that happens.

Look at this

Wenger really needs to stop saying he almost signed this player and that player. It doesn't make him look good, if anything, it makes him look worse. It just means top players don't want to play for him.

I wonder if wenger doesn't sign a new contract he will then say he spoke to himself about signing, and it was close, and he nearly signed Wenger, but a bigger club offered more money .

Would I be right in saying if United win the Europa League and finish in the top 4 the 5th placed team will qualify for the CL next season?

Edit: googled it, only 4 teams qualify for the CL if United win it and finish top 4 - 5 qualify only if they win the Europa and finish outside top 4

Ideal scenario is for United to go out of the Europa and finish top 4, if 5 teams qualify that's one extra team that can further inflate transfer fees for potential signings this summer, van Dijk etc

May the 4th be with Celta Vigo :face_palm:

ideal scenario for me would be,United get absolutely twatted tonight and so Jose has to field a very strong side against Spuds. Arsenal qualify in fourth as they have already shown as no threat despite having CL football. Failing that United win tonight and get twatted by Ajax with Bertrand Traore being the architect behind their downfall.

Ideally Arsenal fail to qualify and Sanchez hands in a transfer request?

Agree about United though, hope they get twatted too

No question about it. ManUtd fans, too, are spoiled brats who think they're untouchable. They have been trash since SAF left.

Still can't believe they payed 89mil for pogba...makes you wonder what Lamps would have cost when he was at his best and still playing today...

I have never seen him have a brilliant game, not once. I've seen moments of brilliance from him when he was at Juve, but that doesn't mean much, i have seen moments of brilliance from plenty of average players over the years. He's been overrated for a while. I honestly believe that if it wasn't for his social media lifestyle, he wouldn't be anywhere near as rated as he is. I also think Juve look better this season without him.

Yeah they will win it which is a shame because it's their only way back into the CL.

ajax are the only hope but I doubt they have the know how to beat United in a final

When we won the league title under Mourinho, some pundits and most fans were calling us boring. United have been much more boring than we ever were and they are hardly getting any stick. Pretty much every game involving United has been dull.

Here's a wee reminder of the kind of goals we were scoring:

My son and I were reminiscing about this goal the other day. Fabulous goal, and great to see it again, but when he scored it I remember thinking that it didn't really matter.

At 2-1 up (4-2 on agg), Basel needed 3 goals to knock us out.

At 3-1 up (5-2 on agg), Basel needed 3 goals to knock us out.

Weird how a goal like that can, in reality, not really strengthen our hold on the tie.
