Yes, no doubt about it. They would have been down to 10 men and with the amount of pressure we were putting on them, we would have won comfortably.

Spot on.

Few points.

Travesty we haven't won the game.

Need to start with a higher intensity.

Moses shouldn't be our first reference when needing a goal.

Lay off Cahill. We are looking to play from the back and not just thump it. It was a foul.

kante only got going when we was 2-1 down.

best I've ever seen Costa in a Chelsea shirt. Like drogba at times.

"Costa should have been off"

I think Chelsea will be the unhappier, they will feel they should have gone on and won with all the chances they had. A great second half and a wonderful spectacle from the Premier League.

No excuses from referee Andre Marriner. He could see it was a dive by Diego Costa and he should have been sent off. Then, would you believe it, he pops up with the equaliser.
----------

He really is a c**t. Such a lazy, easy thing to say something the vast majority will never argue with.

That really is lazy, lazy commentating. Costa has become such an easy target the majority of post Chelsea match analysis has become whether he should have been sent off for an imaginary foul or looking vaguely in the direction of the referee. But should we really expect anything less with the standard of football "analysts" lately?

Unfortunately, I had to miss the game. Can someone describe the performance by few words, any ratings about the players?

By the comments, I can understand the referee had a poor day, but he didn't score 2 goals to us, is it the right time for Luiz and Alonso to enter the starting line?

Is there any legit reasons behind late changes by Conte?

Usually we love a good bicycle kick goal

Diego scores one and we are talking about high boot dangerous play. Didn't someone score one yesterday?

there's absolutely no point in arguing with you.

let's just agree to disagree.

A good defence to me is one that prevents goals when being attacked.  Say 5 chances and no goals, not one that concedes on each attack.

Anyways I agree with you.  Agree to disagree cause I also don't see a point arguing with you.

Costa today was immense, led the line well and scored two good goals.

We were far too profigate in front of goal, clear cut chances have to be taken when your on top.

Marriner allowed Swansea to get away with far too many niggly fouls in the first half, this had echoes of the cup tie with Everton.

Courtois has to take the blame for allowing them back into the game, penalty all day long.

Marriner should be reduced to refereeing in the lower tier after missing the foul on Cahill.

We showed a good response from going behind... THIS TEAM HAS ITS SPIRIT BACK

Conte was a little tardy with the substitutions.

We got a deserved point should have been more but we knicked the games against West Ham and Watford previously.

How the f**k did we end up with more bookings than Swansea?

We will play a lot worse and get the three points in future.

Quick point on the ref, they are so easily swayed by the home crowds, especially the underdog clubs, it happens on a constant basis, they get swept up in the emotion of the game and have this desire to let it flow, even if it gets in the way of rational decision making, that Cahill foul was an easy spot for instance. But, they're so intent on letting it flow, because it probably keeps them in good books with the FA, which is plain wrong and unprofessional, but the standard has been slipping dramatically in recent seasons, it's now a serious shambles.

what does Matic offers seriously? 4 games and i still don't get what makes him deserve to start every match
he is limited offensively and defensively redundant considering we have Oscar and Kante in the midfield

He is not starting our best team.  He puts Cesc on to chase the game.  Is f**king Bullsh*t.  Him instead and win it then play the matic guys afterwards.  Today should have been a 4-0 game - f**ks sake

Have to disagree, and I was very critical of Matic last season. The midfield trio played very well, you're underestimating how much work they put in to completely nullify Swansea for the 90 (goals aside - which none of the trio were responsible for).

I think Conte's been playing our strongest XI, despite how good some of the players on the bench are. We look balanced, generally solid defensively and very threatening in attack. And when he does make changes they've had a positive impact in stretched games. We're 5 games in, we've won in all but today's, and we've been playing more offensive and intensely than we have in years.

I think we're looking great, have a bit of positivity.

f**ks sake, we've won 3 out of 4, drew the other but should have won comfortably on chances created, and dropped points because of one courtois f**k up and a joke refs decision. And he annoys you? Get a f**king grip.

now you annoy me and I'm going to annoy you back..  I don't f**king rate conte, he's way too timid who based his football on safety first.. supposed I could tell you the manner of our 2 wins out of  the 3 in 4 games but it would go to deaf ear in your case so might as welll save the effort..  oh 1 more time, conte annoys me so are you going to explode now mr. judgemental??

Nothing!  He offers nothing at all.  He should be behind even Chalobah in the pecking order!

And yet no mention that Swansea should have been down to 10 too after mariner bottled a 2nd yellow. Or that a Swansea player dived too without being booked.

Sry, but Cahill does spend forever to spot a pass, wich puts him in situations like this. Cahill in short: Easily bullied and stressed, slow pace, average passer and takes to long to spot a pass.

He didn't score their goals, but he certainly assisted with the them. He should be seeing the foul on Cahill.

They got two and scored two!  That means defence if awful!  Terry is too slow, can't believe that counter attack - sigurdson just paced from him like he wasn't there!!  We are not blind - we all see this!

Thank you!

Did you watch the game or just making sh*t up? He was under pressure because of that pass by Terry, and sure maybe he should of thumped it and in hindsight we know that, but CLEARLY we're not playing that way anymore. So he is just following the gameplan. Given that Fer was already running towards him as the pass came, if you look at it closely again Cahill was fairly collected all things considered and had he not been fouled or had the foul been acknowledged he would of done his job successfully. How is that hard to understand?

are you insinuating that I'm one of the JFDs by any chance?? lol...

Slow defence and a keeper that hesitates to come off his line behind them. Thats a disaster when the other team is counterattacking.

Watched the highlights now, I think there was a legit reason to whistle for a foul, but we must know that there is no place to play games in that area when an opponent is pushing forward.

Frustrated with this result as the majority on here are. We should have had this wrapped up in the first half but I just sensed if we didn't get that second goal they could nick one. We were totally exposed for their equaliser something that Conte has previously discussed and which we must address. Of course Cahill was fouled for their second but he shouldn't have been given that ball in the first place. The ref had a shocker and Swansea should have been down to ten men. We need to be more ruthless but we also need a ref that doesn't allow our players to be kicked all over the place.

2 Points dropped thanks to some atrocious refereeing.. Bit of a kick in the stomach that feels like a loss especially with some tricky fixtures coming up, Thought we dominated the game, Tibo and Cahill were poor though but really Swansea should of been down to 9. Costa very impressive also.

We need a miracle then
