Clearly this today's script has been written by sonepne who hates Tottenham even more than I do.

If we beat them 2-1 whilst playing like this, it would be more insulting than smashing them 5-0

Without that goal, I couldn't see us coming back to this game. We had a really bad first half, defensively and in an attack. Big goal by Pedro, I hope this goal will bring us more motivation, raise our morale and make us more hungry. Looking for a big second half, don't want to see us losing points tonight!

COME ON CHELS!!!!!!!!!!!

these slow starts happen far too often with chelsea, i think we will go on to win this but it would be less stressful if they got going from the start!

It does appear to me that Spurs are tiring. F**k the 3-4-2-1, we should just go for the throat during the next half.

However, they might go in for a brief, last burst of pressing, so as another poster suggested, we should run them ragged by making them chase the ball across the field.

This seems more and more like it's going to be a repeat of the game last year. Same slow start from us in the first half and then we slowly start taking over the game. I doubt they can keep the pressure up like this in the next 45 minutes and I believe that's why they have so many draws. They pressure too hard at the start and hope to bury the game before the start of the second half.

Hopefully Matic and Kante can wake up. Yes, they are being pressed by decent players, but even when they do their job and break up the play they lose it straight away every damn time. You have to help yourself sometimes lads!

Slow starts does seem to be one of the biggest problems with us. During that run before the international break we started games really quickly, and look how good we were in that run. Starting games quickly is so important. We can't keep wasting 20-30 minutes of a game like we have today. We have proven that when we play quick, we are impossible to deal with.

Was in the process of typing how Pedro's been a spare part so far before that goal. Cracking turn and finish, although I still reckon he's a potential half time sub.

We haven't been at the races, so we're lucky to go in 1-1. We've had no control in midfield so far. Kante and Matic overrun and losing their individual battles, Moses double marked.

Spurs have done a good job of snubbing our link between defence and attack. It's either punt upfield or use Alonso, the only man their leaving spare. And we've a better chance of Hazard beating Vertonghen in the air than Alonso doing anything threatening with the ball.

Hopefully incentive for us to up the intensity second half. In defence of Conte, we haven't really allowed Spurs many opportunities beyond long shots and Walker jogging past Alonso, but playing so deep and standing off men leaves us exposed to strikes like Eriksen's.

Still fancy us to take 3 points, we've so much more quality in attack than Spurs, but we really need to up the effort second half.

Slow movement and not using their instincts is the problem. They seem to be taking a second longer to make a decision, something they weren't doing before the international break. They need to quickly get back to how they were a couple of weeks ago because they are vital to how well this system works.

On the other hand, our halftimes are legend!!! KTBFFH.

Dembele and Wanyama completely bossing the midfield. Kante has lost like every single duel he has had and just looks lightweight today. All good getting the goal at H/T but something needs to change and be reorganized or it will be same old: us getting outplayed. Hopefully fatigue sets in for Spurs second half and we have a much stronger bench also.

Not sure we've seen 3-4-3 today, more like 5-2-3. Reckon we should go 4-3-2-1... if we play like the first half only a matter of time before we invite pressure and concede again.

                 Tibo

Azpi -- Luiz -- Cahill -- Alonso

 Chalobah -- Kante -- Matic

        Willian -- Hazard

                Diego
