Hard one here so many played well. Think I'll go with Moses though Matic, Kante, and Dave all had great games as well.

Tough one, we were really tight at the back (think they only had one shot on target?) so was going to go with Luiz but felt Matic was probably a bigger key to that.  So went with Matic.  Special mentions to Hazard and Moses.

Pedro had zero impact and Alonso was worrying, though up against Tadic.. which is not easy.

Hazard for me.

I love it when we have a fair number of possible MOTM contenders every week. Saw it pretty much as Van Butsen with the only two definitely not in with a shout being Alonso & Pedro.

 

Went for Matic, just ahead of Kante, Hazard, Luiz and Moses.

Did you see the moment when Hazard had the ball on the left touchline and took out three Saints players with a little flick of the ball ? 

 

Hazard for me. I know that alonso isnt the fastest but he seems to have a good left foot and does put the miles in every game he has started. think he had a good game yesterday as well hard to pick a fault in any of the players to be honest

Moses was very close but I will give it to Hazard for those dancing moves.

Eden for me.

Majority of the team played very well but Hazard was just on another level

Had to be Hazard really. Just like everyone said though everyone played well, particularly Costa, Moses & Kante. I could get used to performances like the last few of late!

Went for Matic today. Offered a bit more in midfield then Kante yesterday. Hazard a very close second.

 

Best Matic game for a very long time for me.

I thought Hazard was fabulous, Matic back to his best, Kante like a Rolls Royce, Dave, Luiz and Capn Cahill assured, Costa lean, quick, and awesome, but my choice Moses what an engine, the modern complete wingback, fast, powerful, direct oh and Two footed, rockets in each boot.....

We can't expect Alonso to be challenging for MOTM in such distinguished company but, boy, is Conte getting the best out the squad now. When Willian is back, we'll be a very tidy outfit

Matic for me. Close call between him and Hazard.

Hazard for me, just. You know when things are going well just as easy I could have picked others for equal performances.

Matic. Hazard also fantastic and best of all, a team working well together.

I agree, he seems to be horribly unpopular on here. If it wasn't sad enough that his rating for this match is so low, this actually pulls his average rating for the season up!

The one thing I have noticed from these player rating so far is how harsh we are as a community - currently only two players (Costa and Kanté) are above a 7 for average rating. WAGNH have six players, and I'd check the Reddit polls as well but I don't really want to be seen browsing Reddit at work.

There's some very harsh critics of certain players on this forum agreed. 

The ire directed at Cahill for example off the back of a few games really surprised me. 

Pedro however is the player I'm really surprised gets so much grief, if nothing else he at least always tries to do his best. 

Considering we've strung together 4 very impressive wins on the bounce with the same XI being selected I can't believe how low the forum average ratings are. 

There seems to be a reluctance to give credit to players like Matic because of how poor his previous form was.
