The warning signs where there in the last 5 minutes, apart from the hazard chance when cesc played the ball over the top he hasn't really done anything, he doesn't suit this position at all IMO

Cahill went with the wrong leg towards the ball, this goal came because we invited them, we gave them space and time to move the ball like they want.

Matic is missing so much, I really hope Fabregas will wake up because until now it looks like we're 10 on the pitch.

We've to start with a high pressure our second half, stuck City in their half and attack them. We should play more on Moses! Sane can't really defend.

We got enough time to make a comeback, COME ON CHELS!!!!!!

Decent opening half hour, then we invited pressure and started hitting aimless long balls.

Cahill maybe should have tried to clear with his left there, but it was a great ball into the box tbf.

Need more from costa, hazard and pedro. when we have got into good positions, we havent ended getting a shot off apart from hazards from the edge of the area.

Fascinating game though.

Hopefully step it up second half.

Our biggest problem in that first half was playing out of defence and it's been happening for the last 3 games now. We give it away so often around our own defence and it's killing any chance we have to attack. I like the system we play but the way we have played it in the last few games has been really poor. We are making it easy for the opposition. Our lot need to pass it better and be more aware of what is around them. At the moment, it's only Luiz who can play it out from the back, the rest of the defence plus Kante and Fabregas really have been struggling to get us out of defence of late.

Everyone seems keen to bash Cesc who hasn't played in months, I'd be interested to hear their views on Hazard who bar missing an open goal has been equally anonymous?

Poor first half but it could easily be 1-1 if Hazard had shot

Hazard atleast made the run and did some other ok stuff, still far off his best. I'm alot more worried looking at Alonso, who can't seem to be able to make simple passes and is to slow to handle the city attackers.

Calm down! By all means be upset with Cahill's inability to defend the attacking ball and as a result unintentionally conceding a goal, but calling him a c**t is a disgrace.

Totally agree, calling our captain a c*** is out of order tbf, everybody makes mistakes I'm sure he will come out in the second half and score a headed goal from a corner;)

Aguero actually bends down and taps Cahill on his head after the OG as some kind of provocation.
Someone break that c*nt in two in second half please.

I hold Aguero in the same regard as Skrtel and Vertonghen: absolute c**ts

I don't think Hazard's position is the problem, that is fine as it is, it's the lack of support that is the problem. Hazard, Pedro and Costa are getting no support from the wing backs or the centre midfielders.

I didn't mean hazard I meant cesc mate! Apart from the ball over the top for hasn't cesc hasn't done anything, if we carry on the way we did last 15 minutes this could be 3-0 city!!!!

An even 30 minutes, but City dominated the last 15 minutes.

Things can change in the second half as last week's match against Tottenham showed, but at the moment I'd be content with a draw.

Honestly think Oscar would have been a better option over Cesc, he's not great by any means but he can at least run and will try to put himself about, Cesc has absolutely nothing

Luiz a lucky lad looking at that replay when he checked Aguero.

Yeah he was, but im listening to mustoe and earle calling for a possible red, when that rule was changed this season.

So at worse it would have been a booking and a free kick 30 yards from goal.
