Very important win, let's hope United will put a good performance against Liverpool. 

First half wasn't good enough, but the second half was very good, a lot of creative moves, 3 goals, clean sheet, 3 points, running away in the table. Can't ask for more at the moment.

The Liverpool/Manchester media so desperate to invent a crisis it's hilarious. You can tell the comfortable win tonite destroyed them. Probably had their "CHELSEA IN CRISIS" Sunday headline waiting in the wings and now has to be binned.

I'm not here to criticize Conte, I respect him and his decision. But I think today he could give Batshuayi more minutes, we really needed a striker in the second half, Willian had a poor game tonight. In 10 minutes it's really hard to impress a coach, I think he could give him more minutes to play. I guess we all knew he won't start today, but with that way I can't really see Batshuayi impressing Conte, only in Cup games.

It's not meltdown, just some people a bit concerned about his current form. He has definitely gone off the boil a bit. 1 goal in 6, he hasn't been taking players on as much and he's disappeared in a few games of late. It's mild concern at the moment, nothing major.

They say stop Hazard and Costa and you stop Chelsea,nope.Its a team game and other players can step up when needed ,thats what was pleasing today.

watched post match immediately after the game, then again after reading comments and didn't hear Alonso talk about Costa - Cahill was asked about playing with or without Costa and he pretty much just ignored journo and said pedro, hazard and willian are awesome.  Conte was quizzed about Costa but he said it was injury that ruled Diego out.

for me this was a massive win, coming after the spurs loss and then the costa bollocks this sends out a sound message

Looked like a very comfy away win and a clean sheet to boot. Did it without Diego.

What a massive win...huge under the circumstances re. Post sp*rs and Costa stories...surprised getting home to see match of the day wax lyrical about front 3...Pedro I understand, but I didn't think we were as good as we can be...still, makes a change for them to praise us when at all...

Hazard was not at his best, but the vision for that assist was incredible..I actually started to shout 'why the fcuk didn't you shoot?' Only for Alonso's shot to send me nuts for a different reason....now get Costa situation sorted, I'm not buying it wasn't a simple back injury, beat hull next week and we can go to Anfield in good shape.

Marcos Alonso angrily fired back at the media as the confusion surrounding Diego Costa rumbles on.

The Spanish left-back scored twice as the Blues brushed off the absence of their star striker by comfortably seeing off champions Leicester at the King Power Stadium.

The media can say what they want. its obviously a witch hunt. With all these journalist saying their sources say this and that, but never reveal their sources. They think they will make us weaker but are just hardening the blues for the battle ahead. I know who i will believe between the fake, biased English press and CONTE

Good result but the team still lacks depth. We have no first class subs other than fabregas. Chalobah is the best of the others but will hardly strike fear into opponents.

We need another couple of potential starters and definitely someone to replace Oscar.

That was a magnificent response after a turbulent 24 hours! Proud of the team and Antonio for handling it so professionally.

Alonso easily MOTM after stepping up in light of Ake's loan return.

 

A lot of us werent impressed by the performance although teh result was very good,  yet the BT pundits and match of the day team seemed to think we were sublime
