who else is feeling more skeptical about winning the league as each fixture approaches?

Anything can happen, sure, however this pessimism is just ridiculous.

Also, keep in mind that Spurs must be perfect and drop no points. Not going to happen.

I'm sure people were saying them going on a 9-game winning run was "not going to happen" as well....

It would've been nice if spurs dropped points today, but in all honesty I can't see us dropping more than 2 points in the last 4 games. Everton away is a tough game but you could see they have very little to play for, which is going to be the case in all our remaining fixtures.

Not looking at spurs to drop points now.

Let's go on and grab the title.

Ktbffh

Theres no way we will collapse now and lose 2 games, 3 home fixtures, 1 away meanwhile the sh*t from the lane have 3 away games and a home game against United.

If we dont win it now its a huge kick in the balls, did not expect Arsenal to help us either today, the only thing that counted was the win away to Everton.

Knowing we can afford to lose 1 with the remaining fixtures have me calm and in a way it would be brilliant to let them keep winning and shatter their dreams that way. Not ideal though so I hope United to the business.

Don't be nervous, Zeta.

Can you see us losing 2 out of the last 4 games? If so, then fair enough. I personally can't see it happening.

West Ham away is a tough game for Spurs but I'm expecting them to win that, Kane loves a goal against West Ham too. Man U at home is where I think they could drop points, Mourinho won't want to lose that and I expect he'll park the bus and frustrate for a 0-0, 0-1, 1-1.

If they were still at The Boleyn i would fancy there chances but the slick pitch at The London stadium makes WHU mincemeat for superior footballing sides. If we conspire to fail to win two games and require a favour from elsewhere Leicester away is our best bet, after last season they hate Spurs as much as us.

After the sly little digs Mourinho has aimed at Chelsea, is there a chance Mourinho will not want Chelsea to win the PL ?.

He thinks of himself and he enjoys results against the bigger teams. He'll want to lay a marker especially if Top 4 is still in reach.

United down to bare bones atm, if they made it to the el final cant see jose field their main starting xi against spurs just two days after the second leg

I wouldnt be surprised if spurs win all their remaining games, they're in an unbelievable form. its down to us really i mean if we cant get 9 points from two teams already relegated and two mid table teams already on the beach, then we simply dont deserve the title

Boro is the big one left now. They showed against city they are still fighting and I doubt they are mathematically down when we play them. After that west brom and watford have nothing to play for and sunderland are down already. If we are motivated we will beat them.

i'm on the confident side of things now, but still wary because we can often make games more difficult than they need to be; yesterday was a perfect example of this. i am reluctantly confident we can win the rest of our games, especially considering pretty much all of them have zero to play for any more.

true, boro will want to win, but we also want to win and it's at our place. boro's scoring has been poor, they will have to try score goals which will leave them open to attack. the advantage is with us this game and i think boro will probably try to sit back and get a point. fabregas and willian should play this game, we will need more creativity for this one imo.

Middlesbrough will have to go for the win. They have only 3 games left and are 6 points away from safety. They will know a point is no good to them.

If Boro only get a point and Hull beat Sunderland who play before them, then they will be down.

So we want Hull to beat Sunderland so it forces Boro on to us.

Everton was the super big game. We struggled a bit but we battered them in the end, that's another big confidence booster and the fact that we kept a clean sheet is even better.

Just win 3 games. That's it.

Is it too much to ask for them to lose at WHU & we win our two games before they play Utd meaning we'll be 10 points clear..

Cant see them losing at WHU though sadly.

West ham are blooming hopeless so yes, yes it is. If Spurs beat them by less than 3 goals it will be a surprise.

West Ham are perennial game raisers when it comes to playing Spurs though so I wouldn't count them out. They could force a draw against Spurs, even though I don't think they'll win.

I hope they do, even if they only get a point. I just know the way Spurs are playing that it's gone be 2 or 3-0.
