This seasons black kit is the first one I haven't minded in about six years, they're always so boring. Get the white off and that should fix it or replace the blue and white with green No hold it then it would look like Norwich. All yellow?

A ton of English clubs traditionally wear yellow as an away kit: Us, Arsenal, Everton, etc. From memory Leeds originally wore yellow and blue at home before they switched to copying Madrid kits.
May 25, 20179 yr We first had a yellow and blue away strip as a third strip in 1963/64. Then from 1964/65-1966/67 the yellow and blue was our official change strip. We last had it ad an away strip in 2014/15.
May 25, 20179 yr Interestingly our first change strip was white jersey, white shorts and black socks with two blue hoops at the top of the socks.

True, I'd much rather we wore yellow though, reminds me of the 90's sides in my youth and can't forget the fa cup final in 09.

Yeah, I'd like to see it as well. Looking back, 07/08 was the last season where we didn't have either an away or 3rd kit that was primarily black or navy blue. That was the year of the 'electric yellow' kit. Before that you've got to go right back the 01-02 season. Prior to 02-03 we'd never worn black, aside from brief flirtations with stripes.
June 1, 20179 yr New leak from footyheadlines, it's like Nike just got their basic template and slapped the crest on it.

June 1, 20179 yr Lol as expected from nike, if you think adidas is lazy.. Its basically city's kit with chelsea blue, sheesh people actually got paid for "designing" this
June 1, 20179 yr Adding white to the sleeves is just too much hassle for Nike, boring as f**k. To be expected though, they suck. Edited June 1, 20179 yr by Floyd25

June 1, 20179 yr for some reason I dislike the word "tyres" on our shirt - not sure why but I don't like it, seems to cheapen it - Yokohama by itself would be fine.

June 1, 20179 yr Well so,long as it gets us a ton of money I'm not fussed. Edited June 1, 20179 yr by Chelsbear

June 1, 20179 yr I'm not a lover of Nike gear, that shirt is ok we've had worse, my main gripe is never having Royal Blue as our main colour. Regards Nike/Adidas copying other clubs designs that has always gone on right back to the 70s, see Chelsea in 77/78 home get Everton, see Chelsea in 91 away get Everton, Sheff Weds also had the same away kit as us in 90 albeit in green, we had red & white hoops away, we then copied Weds away kit in 93/94. As long as we keep white socks & have yellow blue yellow or all yellow as our main away kit i'm happy, trouble is the more garish the colour the more fans buy them for some reason. I'd also like us to adopt yellow socks when we have to change from white like at Spurs away for example.

Me too, prefer the simple plain design. 1970 was my first time at the Bridge, so the early "Royal Blue" kit was what I grew up with, and wore whilst playing in the garden and local park. Also Yellow Blue Yellow for the away kit.
June 2, 20179 yr incredibly boring. Didn't really expect much more from Nike though. A decade of dull kits but at least it makes us plenty of £££. Now invest in some top players.

It's not terribly exciting, but I prefer the plain design over some over-the-top fabric woven in a way so we get 4 different shades of blue, as shown before in this thread. Is it woven or weaved? Too lazy to look it up Edited June 2, 20179 yr by Valerie
June 2, 20179 yr But it isn't official is it? It's only a mock up. I would be surprised if that is the the final kit. Way too plain.
