July 10, 20179 yr Is he actually going to give us anymore than Alonso, who to be fair had a good season?

I'd love to have him at Chelsea. This transfer has dragged on and I am not confident we'll get him though. Annoyed !!
July 10, 20179 yr Once Bakayoko and Morata are done, I feel they'll be one last push for Sandro and if not, they'll will probably go after Alex Telles.

At juve he improved a lot defensively, but he still makes a few mistakes especially on set pieces and when he gets too cocky on transitions near the box. Attacking wise he is a fantastic player. At present it looks like he has decided to stay but the transfer window is long. Not sure that at 60-70 milions he would be the best way to improve your team though. There is room for improvement elsewhere for probably less money starting from the right back position for instance
July 10, 20179 yr Juve are one of if not the best run club in Europe over the last 5 years or so. I don't see an obvious replacement for him so don't think we'll be able to pry him away. Unfortunately I think the only result our interest will see is a more lucrative contract for Sandro.
July 11, 20179 yr I've heard that Juventus have raised their price to around 70m Euros which is roughly 65m and I've also heard Chelsea are still willing to pay that price. The problem lies with convincing Sandro himself. In my opinion, if Sandro wants this move, we'll get him.
July 11, 20179 yr I can't see this one happening now tbh. There seems to be very few developments. Just waiting for reports of a United gazump to do the rounds!
July 11, 20179 yr For the price we would be paying I really don't see how he is that much better than Alonso. I feel we need cover and competition for alonso (also moses) but not a £60m+ replacement. I'm sure that money can be put to better use
July 11, 20179 yr Alonso is no less good than Sandro. Fact. What we have to do is concentrate on both Morata and Bakayoko. These are important targets. Conte will expect these to be wrapped up in the next 7 days.

Sandro is the best/ second best in his position in the world. Alonso has never played for Spain since he played with the U19 side. He's good and i'm a big fan of him, but Sandro is an awful lot better.
July 11, 20179 yr Looks like Juve have got Douglas Costa. Could this mean they'd be possibly more likely to Sandro?
July 11, 20179 yr Anyone clued up on the Serie A in particular Juventus' non-EU player limitations as far as I can work out they have 4 players that should count as non-EU and are only allowed 3 but there is the option to so they may have bought a non-EU slot off of another team. The 4 I've got are Caudrado, Sandro, Tello and Betancur. Given they are trying to bring in Costa surely that means at least one of the above has to be leaving (loaning doesn't count so they have to be sold), Betancur and Caudrado have technically just signed as well so makes them unlikely to leave. So they may may just be willing to let Sandro go. Edited July 11, 20179 yr by PedroMendez

He will go if Chelsea offers over 60m and Sandro does not accept the new revised contract and presses for a transfer, Juve does not want to sell him and does not need to. Regarding non-EU the rule is convoluted but basically we can add 1+1. The first will be most likely Betancour and the second Costa. In order to add the second we can sell Tello (who is not in the first team and is the most likely option), Cuadrado or Asamoah.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if selling a non-EU player that didn't take up a non-EU squad spot (Asamoah) would free up a non-EU squad spot. I imagine he would have to leave Italy for that to count though? But was I right in thinking one non-EU player would need to leave for Costa to be able to sign? And yes I agree Tello is the more sensible option to sell but lets say just to give a little extra hope to us Chelsea fans, Juve are struggling to find one of Tello, Caudrado or Asamoah a new permanent home, they may just a little bit be less reluctant to sell Sandro.

Yes they must be sold outside Italy. Tello will be the candidate, do not think Asa will go despite having offers from Turkey because they are not very high and he is a quality player that can cover 2 positions very well. But TBH Sandro is really too important especially after loosing Alves I am quite sure the club will try to keep him for another season and eventually promise him to let him decide next season like we didi with Pogba in 2015. However if Sandro went there would not be many options available much better than Asa. One of them is probably our own youngster Spinazzola who is still on loan to Atalanta and has had a fantastic season last year. Not same quality than present Sandro but good option. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9VibVTMdVk

And I think everyone here realises Sandro is unlikely to be moving, at least without significant pressure from the player, which there hasn't been much of a peep from yet.
July 12, 20179 yr Sandro won`t come for sure, this is a dead like Lukaku. If we would wanted this one, we should have acted fast, but we once again was trying to drop the price for a player, that is so imporant to his team and they simply don`t want him to leave. So Marina are you still so certain you can drop his price with 10mln. I don`t see how we can get such player anymore with Emanalo + Marina. It`s not happening.

July 12, 20179 yr And how you knows that? There was a lot of reports that Marina thinks he can drop his price with 10mln. and that she is certain with that.

And there were lots of "reports" that said if a deal was gling to take place, Sandro would have to force it. One of them was the chairman of Juve. But then again, Emenalo is at fault for everything so Im sure its his fault
