People thought Mertesacker would struggle today, but he's playing against a Costa who isn't much more mobile than him and a Costa who has been terrible since January. If he was playing against someone like Batshuayi, it would have been a different story.

I appreciate the first year he was back when he was a beast but since then he's been shocking.

I expect him to stay for a Long time like Mikel.  Only problem is that he's in the first team rather than being a sub ala Mikel.

Just need to get one goal then we'll go onto win it. We're dominating it and bullying them. Just lacking quality in the final third.
