April 14, 20188 yr That meek surrender to sp*rs and failure to beat West Ham really coming home to roost tonight...even if we'd just drawn against them and beaten West Ham like we should have done, we'd be within two points of them now and still with hope of a top four place - despite all the sh*t that's gone on before
April 14, 20188 yr I could spew everytime I watch De Bruyne. Anyone with any element of sense could see how good he was at a young inexperienced age. It hurts watching how good he has become elsewhere. Also, Salah.
April 14, 20188 yr Oh what a surprise...City are on first on match of the day again....since moving to manchester, Beeb have become such fanboys

It’s amazing though because despite the talent and ability he’s shown everywhere else before and after his time at Chelsea, apparently he so bad here that it’s amazing he was ever scouted and signed in the first place. Of course it was nothing to do with Mourinho deciding that after a couple of poor performances that he had had his chance and must be sold. And despite Mourinho being heralded a genius for turning Joe Cole from a lazy show boater into a talented workhorse, KdB was so hopeless that even Jose’s Midas touch was powerless. No matter what anyone says, KdB was a monumental f**k up. Salah was a surprise as despite being consistently poor, he was afforded a good few opportunities and even took a fair time to come good after he’s gone. You can’t get them all right but KdB was a balls up. Don’t get me wrong, as I’m not saying he’s the difference between our current malaise and being top; he’s definitely not that good but, he’d be the joint first name on our team sheet and he more than likely have made Moratas life a fair bit easier. Still, no point crying over spilt milk. Especially when you’ve now got Ross Barkley in your squad.
April 14, 20188 yr Looking back at this season, it seems like our results against smaller teams are what really cost us to get into CL vs the results against the bigger team. If we had beaten Watford, Bournemouth and West Ham (both home and away), we would have been sitting pretty in fourth. And that's not even factoring in the other teams we dropped points against in the first half of the season. We lost way too many games this season against opposition that should have been wins given the players in our squad.
April 14, 20188 yr I disagree. No points v Citeh. 3 points v ManU when we should have won both games. likely no points v Liverpool. 3 lucky points v Tottenham. That did us in a much as our f**kups against the bottom feeders.
April 14, 20188 yr Glad City thumped the Spuds, as Spurs have become dirty under Poch and City have been outstanding up until facing Liverpool in the CL.

April 15, 20188 yr We will be crazy to sell Kenedy to Newcastle; he is their best player. Bring him back to compete with Hazard.

Sometimes they change the rules though. Good to see Arsenal lose though to be fair after playing in Russia midweek then having to go away to Newcastle certainly gives the home side a helping hand.

Imagine they just do that next season, i.e, change the rules so that the winner doesn't automatically qualify for the UCL ... the very year we're in it Edited April 15, 20188 yr by Londonisblue

Never forget the irony of Harry Redknapp getting Spurs to 4th only for us to win the CL and Spurs miss out on the CL and Harry gets sacked.

There's nothing flatter than failing to win the league in your bitter derby game and then winning it whilst sat at home eating Sunday lunch. You're still champions of course but it's an anticlimactic way of securing it.
April 15, 20188 yr I wonder if City fans would actually prefer to win it at home next week? I certainly would if I could pick and choose since there is so much leeway
April 15, 20188 yr If City are champions today, the better it will be for our 95 pts record to remain
