The funny thing though, is that we beat them twice in european competitons finals (supercup and CWC) and never lost against them haha !!!

How Bayern didnt score more than 1 is crazy....but their injuries f**ked them today.......overall what a weak CL season.....

I don't think RM were that great but had a lot of luck/good last ditch saves. Bayern were better despite the 2 early injuries, I think RM have been pretty lucky throughout the competition and aren't at the level they were last season.

I think Bayern can still go through in the next game but if RM get lucky again it would seem like it's all conspiring for the dippers to win the final...

the thing we seem to forget is that Liverpool have faced teams who had no defensive tactics/intelligence or defense at all. Not the case with RM when you watched tonight's game. RM will kill for those spaces left by liverpool and may bite very hard when they can (i.e, supersonic counter attacks). That's a huge difference btw Roma/City/Porto and RM for dippers. Plus, let's not yet write off Roma. Something tells me that Roma, having their best chances in 30 years to win the UCL, will not go down without a fight, i.e, the second leg at Rome will be MUCH more harder for dippers than we actually think. So hard, that Roma might get through with a miracle performance (again) ! Who knows! Juve got shafted by the ref at the 93rd minute ... they could have become the first team in history to overturn a 3-0 home loss !! Roma might be the first to overturn two 3 goals defeats in the same competition !! Que sera, sera !

"Bin Dipping" is a slang term for people so poor they have to "Dip" into bins/trash cans for food.

Liverpool fans have a reputation for being impoverished and the city of Liverpool itself has it's fair share of problems associated with socio-economic deprivation.

Therefore, the name "Dippers" has stuck.

I don't put anything past Liverpool this season tbh. Everything seems to be going for them. Real Madrid are such an odd team, we don't know which one will turn up. I thought Bayern lacked clinical finishing tonight, otherwise it may have been a different story. I am not sure Liverpool would be as useless in front of goal given the chance.

Seems like a few posters are trying to convince themselves that Liverpool are not going to win the CL. I pray they don't, but they have the best attack in the world at the moment, with enough fire power to out-score anybody. I think some people need to prepare themselves for the worst, just in case they do win it again.

I think they will and I don't have any issues with that, needed a English winner since we were the last one.

Liverpool are the only team I never want to win anything. Not because of the team themselves, I have no problem with them at all. They are currently one of the best teams in Europe at the moment, playing football that I wish we were capable of. What I can't stand is the fans. Worst fans in football bar none! I would rather their club went out of business than see them win another trophy!

However, any other English team would have been preferable.

Winning the champs league makes the club more desirable destination for some players though. Seeing very good players go to Liverpool in the summer would be dreadful.

You know what, kudos to Liverpool. To be fair, they know how to set up to allow their attacking players to express themselves. They did it with Suarez, Torres, Coutinho, now Mane, Salah, Firmino.

They are the only English club to get England banned in European competitions and till this day the only English team that requires police pest control in the CL. They don't deserve to enjoy any success.
