I don't think we need many. Just need to make the right signings.

Liverpool have caught us up with clever signings. Mane, Salah, Firmino, van dijk, Robertson, have all worked out very well for them, they have Keita, and seemingly fabinho, and possibly fekir to come, you wouldn't bet against all 3 being massive hits aswell next season. 

Whoever is bringing the players in there deserves massive credit. 

We seem to have had a lot more misses than hits in recent summer's. I'm not going to point fingers, but it needs to change or we will be falling behind.

Michael Edwards heads up their recruitment, crazy hot on stats apparently. Thing is it only takes a few good signings from them and Spurs and we're the ones having to play the field with the best of the rest. It took Liverpool years to recover and if signing Barkley/Bakayoko are anything to go by we're heading in that direction.

I agree with you

It sometimes feels a lot of fans rate these players higher than they really are. fabinho meh. Doesn't make the league any harder or easier next season though as we don't have a crystal ball to predict how competitive it will be.

That's their training kit. We're the only ones using a training kit design as the main kit..

Brilliant signings but I have a sneaky feeling it might go tits up. How many signings does he plan on making? That is 3 new signings in the middle of the park, still need a GK & probably 2 defensive signings. Might take a while to integrate 5/6 new signings.

so let me get this right, LFC needs a GK but their priority is a midfielder?

I don't think goalkeeper would've been priority before Saturday. Emre Can has refused a contract months ago, so you understand why they have addressed that so early.

I hope it does go tits up. I'm not sure they will do much with the defence, they have been pretty solid since van dijk has come in. 

Slightly gutted that Liverpool got Fabinho. Klopp at this point just wants long balls to Salah.

They need better CBs and 2 good keepers but is stocking up in midfield and attack. Ox goes to Liverpool just to be a supersub.
