So Liverpool in final stages of Fekir for £53 million to add to Fabinho and Keita. That' a huge outlay already with a keeper still to come for big money too.

We really are falling way behind it seems, other challenging clubs are getting deals done before the WC starts while we are fumbling about trying to find a manager.

Next season might be a big change to what we have come to expect recently, top 4 would be huge feat the way it's going.

As it stands I think we may even fall behind Arsenal. For me it wouldn't be the end of the world if we finish 6th or below, if we can win the Europa League while giving Premier League experience to RLC/Mount/Ampadu I'd take that any day of the week.

I would prefer to wait for liverpool to actually play a game next season before hyping up a couple of signings.

I think the hype is understandable, they have a great manager, and are signing highly rated players, that fit into the managers style. 

I'd be excited if I was a Liverpool fan, but like the rest of the country, I'm dreading it. 

Hopefully they still fall short when it matters.

Yeah I mean the team who got to a CL final and top 4 adding 3 quality players is just hyperbole really....

They don't need to play a game in any case to show they are streets ahead of us now, it's clear to see really unless you have the blue tinted specs on.

 

They still have Bobo, Chuckles and so on in the back. They've soon added three names in the midfield with a cost of ~150 million do far... Wonder what they're thinking about the clowns in the back. It'll be a new season with the same issues

I would love for the clubs to offer an in house subscription service, an online season ticket type thing. Chelsea say pay £xxx at the start of the season and you can stream all of our matches through a log in on our website. 

I had Sky 4 years ago when you could watch all the big games, now though I'm not interested, I cancelled my subscription, I refuse to get BT also. I just stream all my matches out of principle, it's actually not that bad once you learn how to use the likes of acestream and what not. You can even buy a stream which is much cheaper and you get very good quality and the choice to watch whatever you want. 

Honestly out of principle I would urge all people to do the same, they're absolutely scamming the Brits with these subscription packages to watch one match here and there. Don't America get every match for free or something?

I'll be nervous once they revamp the backline. If Salah with 30 goals can't fire them to the title, then obviously adding more midfielders doesn't improve much at all.

They need to start winning then. They have had the money there to spend with the sale of coutinho and have done so. They have no excuses not to win something next season considering they will have the bestest side of all time.

Just means more competition next season so don't understand the dread. Winning the league will mean so much more with 6 stronger teams competing. I think it's exciting. No more excuses for Spurs and Liverpool any longer, they have built their sides now let's go.

so what I read/hear was Kloop asked Fekir to take less money than what was agreed & that turned the whole deal off - sux for them - Also I read/heard that Fekir was going to remain in Lyon - btw The USA played in Lyon vs France - Giroud looked lively but couldn't beat Matt Miazga - that was a welcome bit of news - Team USA looked like Bunker Bob was still in charge but props to the young bucks squeaking out a draw - I will be honest, I was expecting a 5-0 beatdown - I am sure Pogba is looking at Griezmann like LeBron was looking at JR Smith
