That's got to be the weakest bench we've fielded in the PL for a long time.

I'm surprised Morata isn't starting, but not too many surprises aside from that

Here is the Burnley XI: Heaton, Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Ward, Gudmundsson, Cork, Hendrick, Defour, Brady, Vokes

Not feeling very confident. Boga/Batshuayi isn't any better than what your average PL-team can do attacking wise and not much threat from two slow wingbacks either.

It's a must win though. Anything else and its full 2015 already.

Our bench: Caballero, Christensen, Tomori, Kenedy, Scott, Musonda, Morata

So when  we have youth people are complaining that it looks weak when we don't people say we need more youth 

we are also missing Pedro hazard bakayoko and new signings

to be fair, moses is suspended, pedro is injured, bakayoko is injured, and hazard too. if they were available the bench would look stronger. great to see tomori on the bench,

Has to be a balance though, and the youngsters have to actually be reasonably good. You can't throw in 4 or 5 all at once, they have to be bedded in slowly with experience around them.

Looks like Dave is playing RWB not Rudiger...

There's a difference between having youth players available and having youth players only available. 

boga has really been the standout in pre-season, so looking forward to what he can do. i wonder if musonda could play cm.

Yep, all the good ones we have either loaned out or sold. Conte doesn't even count Kyle Scott as one of our midfielders, Tomori was largely poor for Brighton in the championship last season and Kenedy wasn't even allowed to parttake in most of pre-season and will be sent out on loan.

tomori at rwb could be an option for conte (?) in the future. i'm assuming it's only because moses isn't available though.

I understand but we already knew this was coming earlier no ?  If we wouldn't have sold Matic the bench wouldnt have look this bad

Initerested to see Boga, would have preferred Musonda in the middle but this will do nicely.

Yes, we've known for some time that our squad is far too small, but here we are, less than an hour from starting the season, and the board still have no sorted it out. Just because we know doesn't make it any less of a sh*t situation.

I'd rather he brought morata on as played him as a winger so not that dissapointed, happy to see Rudiger I hope he place CB and Dave Rwb as opposed to playing a Rb as a CB and a CB as a wingback

I'd take top 4 right now. But to be fair, I said the same thing last season.
