It will be a tough game, I reckon Burnley will be confident knowing we don't have Hazard and lacking energy in the midfield. Morata will start, nothing like a full on home debut and get the nerve out of the way. We need to win this, or we will hear another week of Chelsea in crisis.

Looking forward to being back at the Bridge on Saturday. Always a great day, the first home game of the season. Meet those I go the games with in the pub before the Match and a few beers afterwards as well. Haven't seen some of them since the Chelsea Legends v Rangers Legends game at the end of June so will be good to catch up. Fancy us to win 2-0.

I would like to see Morata start too to get a proper welcome from SB.

The transfer window, pre season and even the Community Shield has been depressing as hell to be honest, i haven't been this frustrated with a build up to a season since....well, ever i think. I'm actually happy enough with who we have bought in so far, but the amount of players that have gone out ( and we will probably loan out more in the next few days ) has really annoyed me. The short pre season, disappointing trip to China and the Community Shield defeat has annoyed me further too. It will be good to watch some Premier League football and put this bollocks to the back of my mind for a few days. A 3 or 4 nil win would really be nice to see right now. The fans and probably the players and coach need a good boost in confidence right now.

I really think people are frustrated because it has all the signs of summer 2015. We absolutely flopped the following season.

However we have learned from it and as far as I see our lads are fit and ready.

I think this game we will win but I hope we have some new guys in for Tottenham-game.

Morata to start Rudigier to play. Otherwise the usuall suspects 

 

anything less than a win will leave a bad taste.

We are definitely weak for the opening weekend and I just want 3 points.  I don't care how we get them, 1-0 or 6-0 but I just want the 3 points!  I am hoping for at least 4 points in the opening 2 games (Burnley and Spurs).  Get 4 points and we would have done well.  By the 3rd game in 3 weeks times - t will be a completely different story!  Hazard will be back, Bakayoko will be fit and who knows maybe we would have signed someone else and will be really strong and going on another run!  Come or Chelsea!  Hang in there.  The start will be the hardest but we just need to grind the first 3 games and we are okay!

Hazard will not be back by the 3rd game. Late September will be earliest that he will be starting games. He isn't even training with the first team at the moment.

I don't really care for the score line so long as we win.  Obviously I'd like a high score and a clean sheet to give our attack and defence a shot of confidence.  Nothing clears the mind from off the field news stories likea confidence inspiring win.  However, a win will be great for the  team overall, and that's the best remedy we can have.

I actually hope that Michy starts as i feel he has done enough to do so.  I do have a sneaking suspicion that Morata will play on the wing

Andre Gray sold to Watford and Michael Keane sold to Everton. Burnley are a lot weaker without both of these players. We really should be winning this. 

I'd take a steady win, wouldn't want us to come out firing on all cylinders. That's what City has done and as a result they've faltered later on in the season.

Take it easy and make sure we grab 3 points.

3 points. Whatever it takes. 

With Moses missing now is the time to see if Azpi can cut it at wing back. Hopefully will give Rudiger his first start as well.

Finally some real football, the silly season has went on for far too long.

Expect nothing but a win, with all due respect to Burnley.

Would definitely not like to see Morata chucked in on the wing just to get him on the pitch. Either give Musonda/Boga a chance or find an actual formation that fits Bats and Morata through the middle.
